“We celebrated my Birthday there tonight. Thanks for the free dinner on my special day. We really enjoyed the buffet, everything was delicious. Soups are very tasty, loved the homemade dinner rolls, great salad bar, and a great steak from the grill. A lot of the food is homemade. There is a very good variety to satisfy anyone. Everything was very good. We will definitely return another time. You have a very nice gift shop as well.”

“I have grown up stopping in here on my way up and back from our cottage. Their pumpkin pies are unmatched I had to go back and get another this week because it was so good. Donuts are incredible- honestly you can’t go wrong with anything in this place. Friendly welcoming service always. If you’re in the area highly recommend you stop in for some goodies. I’ll be missing this place over winter. See you next year!”

“Such lovely owners and a wide selection of products. I especially like their shampoo and body wash products. My hair has never been so clean and no build up. Vitamins, spices, fresh seasonal produce, great coffee bean choices, frozen and refrigerated products, amazing olive choices and artisan oils and vinaigrettes. Great cleaning products too. The Peony scented dish soap is awesome! It’s got a little of so many necessities. I’ve just moved to Durham so this little shop is so convenient and necessary for me. My new favourite go-to shop! Happy to shop local.”

“Butter chicken pizza was delicious! The whole family enjoyed it. I wish there was at least one table/chair set for a family traveling so they can eat in peace. It was cold summer day, so we had to eat in our car, but it's not a deal breaker. The pizza was worth it.”

“Absolutely Delicious. I enjoy everything. The Chocolate cream cheese coconut cupcakes are amazing as well as the Nanaimo Bars . The cherry pastry was so amazing and smelled delicious while eating . Cupcakes were moist and the icing so flavourful from the raspberry to the Oreo sprinkle . Then the raspberry coconut tarts delicious and fresh , perfect size as well. Extremely happy with everything I tried and can’t wait to go back.”

We didn’t get the chance to try the buffet as it wasn’t open but the dishes we ordered off the menu were amazing. Definitely stopping by. “Pizza. You just call and they ask if you want the same as your previous order. I find this a great idea...you don't spend any more than 5 minutes on the phone. 15 minutes later you're enjoying a fantastic pizza. Love it . Highly recommend the cauliflower crust ..it's delish. Thanks”

Did had to wait for 5 mins because of the rush hour at store, even though there was only two of them working at the busy hours they still manage to pull everyone’s order at time. I was very satisfied with both pizza and service. I will recommend everyone to try there pizza.”

“4 of us went we reserved a table some one was in our table but our name was on another table no prob we sat closest to door was cold everytime some one went in or out...got our drinks and apps some time went by owner came over everything ok? I said we got our apps just waiting on food she said ill go see what happened, are order got cleared some how it wasnt in the system so it wasnt made so she told us there sorry they were working on it, waitress came out explained whole thing again ok np mistakes happen got our dinner was good fries nothing special sandwich was food spinage dip was really good, my friend got a spicey app and she said nothing was spicey about it ... hubby told me when we got home his burger wasnt cooked, but wasnt telling them and having to wait longer i know you can eat it a little red but not my cup of tea i would have took it back...waiter came with our bill she had bills mixed up went and re did it then debit machine was down went and got another one then we left, might go back try again and a different item off menu. It was really busy prob best to make reservations”

“I've been through the drive thru twice. Ordered the 12pc chicken and was surprised by the food temperature. It was so hot and fresh that I had to wait until it cooled to eat. The price was also a shocker. 12 pcs for $38.XX compared to KFC's 10 pcs for $35.XX tax included. Larger pieces too. Definitely recommended.”

“Reviews seem mixed, but our experience was excellent. Party of 8 on a slow night, so I was wondering if we'd get food that had been sitting waiting for customers. But no, everything was hot, fresh, and excellent. The best food I remember getting there since my first visit back in 1988. I had soured on the food from the previous owners, but possible these new owners, even with a few hiccups, will consistently outshine what came before.”
