Got take-out tonight, and enjoyed some amazing chips and wonderful cod. I was surprised after my drive home that the family fish mean didn't include coleslaw or lemons, but excellent all the same.A little high price for it to be my regular spot, but well worth the treat of once in a while.
Yummy battered halibut which two of us had with a small caesar salad. Three of us had fries with their fish and one had mushroom soup. One of our guests exclaimed that the fries were delicious. The owner was friendly and accommodating and the meal was served quickly. Two of us had a dessert of apple rum cake, which was made by the local bakery and which I would have again. It's not the best fish I have had, but by far, not the worst. The mushy peas were, in my opinion to runy. Having said all that, I would go back. Probably to picky being brought up in Britain.
