In searching for a non-chain and local place to get wings, I was a bit hesitant to order from here - typically, we've had bad and inconsistent experiences with small "local" shops. We took a chance here after reading some VERY good reviews. We're also a sucker for a feel good story, and this couple seemed like their customer service (and wings) were too good to pass up.
Well, let me tell you, the reviews are all 100% accurate! The wings are great - big, well-breaded (not too much/little) and sauced properly (I worked at Wild Wing in high school, I'm a sauce snob). We also took a flyer on the butter chicken, and it was also great. That said, their real crowning achievement was how genuinely friendly and welcoming they were. These are people that love the community they work (and I assume live) in, and truly appreciate the business they get.
If you're thinking about ordering wings from here, do it.
Order - 1 pound of xtra hot, 1 pound of hot/honey, 3 blue cheese dips (they have the good off-colour blue cheese) and the butter chicken.

I have never wanted a restaurant to succeed more than Wings and Things. I just ate there for the first time and not only was the food awesome, but the owners may be the nicest people on the planet.
I have celiac disease and have never felt more comfortable than I was here. As soon as I said "celiac" the owners started showing me ingredients and packages - it felt like my parents cooking for me.
Everyone I was with loved their food and midway through, we were already talking about what we'd get next time.
Dietary restrictions: I have celiac and have never felt more comfortable with take out than I did here. Dedicated fryer. Knew their stuff. If anything, they over communicated all the steps they take to ensure food safety.

Very clean but you could tell everything they sell is frozen and boxed. Husband says the wing flavours and good but very salty. May try something else another time but still unsure as I wasnt impressed from our first visit. Staff were very friendly though

The dry Cajun wings were delicious, and the butter chicken sauce is made in house and also delicious!We ordered from here recently, I ordered my food gluten free and they took extra care to ensure everything would be safe for me to eat.The service is outstanding and I'll definitely be coming back!Thank you so much for such a great experience!

This review is a bit late however wanted to come on and express how great the food and service was. We drove in fron Tavistock to pick up an assortment of food from the wings (so many flavors to choose from), poutine, deep fried pickles, jalapeno poppers, and mozza sticks. Everything was amazing and the couple that run it are so friendly! Will definitely be back!
