My family and I have visited several times, and the food has never disappointed us, especially for the price. The menu offers plenty of gluten free options that actually taste good, including the gluten free chicken tenders. While the service can be a bit inconsistent, with it sometimes being very good and other times a little slow, the staff are friendly and accommodating, even for larger groups. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Newly renovated. Need new pictures to match this post. It’s really nice inside now. Food is great and it’s reasonably priced!

Came here for Wings Night - ordered 2 plates of 3lbs wings for 33 dollars each (probably more costly than the wings night deals you can get near the university area) but the wings were delicious and good-sized (we enjoy the breaded ones). We made a reservation at 5pm and felt like we did not need to, but by the time we left the restaurant was full!

Came in with my 88 year old grandmother and can’t believe the service we received.
First off when we came in we were hoping for a booth. We noticed one with some staff items on the table and asked if it was possible to sit there. We were quite rudely informed by the staff member no. Not sure why a table during the lunch hour would be used by staff members.
She ordered the schnitzel and could barely cut through it because it was so overcooked.
Then when she asked for a coffee the waitress told her basically it would be too inconvenient for her to make a pot so she had a tea. Will never ever go back and would not recommend to anyone. Thought it would be a nice spot to go as she is from out east and I was sadly mistaken.

I hardly ever share a google review. I used to swear by EJ’s wings. But I order them extra saucy and the last few times they have been bone dry. Probably seems like a minor thing but eating out is expensive these days. Really disappointed. I need to find another spot to get chicken wings…
We haven't eaten at EJ's in a very long time. We never really liked the food with the old owners. Really impressed tonight with all the renos and delicious menu! We got 4 meals and 2 apps, all were enjoyed!

Unfortunately, this place isnt the same. It must be the new ownership. We ordered burgers and it was hard as a rock and not fresh at all. The bacon was days old as well. Super disappointing, will not be back

For a not busy Tuesday night, service was slow, but friendly. Fries were cold so both gents returned their dinnerrs with MUCH hotter and fresher fries returned. By the time they were back I was already done my dinner so disjointed service. The 1st fries looked like they'd been sitting for a half hour and we're not accaptable. They also both thought their schnitzel was overcooked and without a lot of flavor. One friend had a chicken quesadilla and liked it. I had the spicy chicken and sweet potato fries. Both were just lukewarm. Compared to Swiss Chalet, Swiss Chalet wins hands down for the spicy burger and fries in taste and quality, and for less money.

EJ’s in Baden is a great spot for classic comfort food at a fair price. The menu offers a solid variety of hearty, satisfying dishes that hit the spot whether you're stopping in for lunch or dinner.
What really sets EJ’s apart is its location in a beautiful historic building, which adds so much charm and character to the dining experience. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a staple in the small, close-knit community of Baden. You can feel the local pride and welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in.
If you're in the area and looking for a cozy, reliable place to enjoy a good meal in a unique setting, EJ’s is definitely worth a visit.
