Came in with my 88 year old grandmother and can’t believe the service we received.
First off when we came in we were hoping for a booth. We noticed one with some staff items on the table and asked if it was possible to sit there. We were quite rudely informed by the staff member no. Not sure why a table during the lunch hour would be used by staff members.
She ordered the schnitzel and could barely cut through it because it was so overcooked.
Then when she asked for a coffee the waitress told her basically it would be too inconvenient for her to make a pot so she had a tea. Will never ever go back and would not recommend to anyone. Thought it would be a nice spot to go as she is from out east and I was sadly mistaken.

I hardly ever share a google review. I used to swear by EJ’s wings. But I order them extra saucy and the last few times they have been bone dry. Probably seems like a minor thing but eating out is expensive these days. Really disappointed. I need to find another spot to get chicken wings…
We haven't eaten at EJ's in a very long time. We never really liked the food with the old owners. Really impressed tonight with all the renos and delicious menu! We got 4 meals and 2 apps, all were enjoyed!

Amazing food, excellent service, lovely atmosphere and a clean and hygiene place! Every dish was fresh and flavorful, and the staff made us feel so welcome. Definitely one of the best dining experiences.

Unfortunately, this place isnt the same. It must be the new ownership. We ordered burgers and it was hard as a rock and not fresh at all. The bacon was days old as well. Super disappointing, will not be back

For a not busy Tuesday night, service was slow, but friendly. Fries were cold so both gents returned their dinnerrs with MUCH hotter and fresher fries returned. By the time they were back I was already done my dinner so disjointed service. The 1st fries looked like they'd been sitting for a half hour and we're not accaptable. They also both thought their schnitzel was overcooked and without a lot of flavor. One friend had a chicken quesadilla and liked it. I had the spicy chicken and sweet potato fries. Both were just lukewarm. Compared to Swiss Chalet, Swiss Chalet wins hands down for the spicy burger and fries in taste and quality, and for less money.

EJ’s in Baden is a great spot for classic comfort food at a fair price. The menu offers a solid variety of hearty, satisfying dishes that hit the spot whether you're stopping in for lunch or dinner.
What really sets EJ’s apart is its location in a beautiful historic building, which adds so much charm and character to the dining experience. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a staple in the small, close-knit community of Baden. You can feel the local pride and welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in.
If you're in the area and looking for a cozy, reliable place to enjoy a good meal in a unique setting, EJ’s is definitely worth a visit.

I’ve been a number of times in the past. I’ve always enjoyed myself there. It’s been quite some time lately, but I went last week with a friend for wings and was served by a lovely waitress named Amy she was very friendly and engaging. Which was nice as it felt we weren’t just another tabla. Which happens a lot at pubs I find. I will certainly be back.

Going to EJ's is a great way to spend time with the family, the food is great, the wings are outstanding, but most importantly is the Staff... Benny, Dave, Nicole, Kara, Dana and Amy!! Everytime I go to EJ's, doesn't matter who is our server we always great top notch service. PS - if you are a golfer they put on an outstanding golf tournament, dont miss it as it is a 6* event!! Great way to meet lots of friendly locals and some golfers!!.

I absolutely love coming here! This place holds a special meaning for me—my grandmother’s family used to own it way back in the day, so every visit feels a little like coming home.
The food is always amazing, and the service is consistently on point. I’ve never had a single complaint. I always ask for Amy as my server—she’s incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. She always makes sure our orders are taken quickly and checks in throughout the meal to make sure everything’s perfect.
Thank you, Amy, for always providing such excellent service and making every visit a great one. Love this place!

Great food and service up to this point, but a recent visit ruined it. We had a pregnant blond lady, who couldnt care less about what she was doing, she had her nose in the air, and was rude and less than friendly. If we ask for something, it's a customers right, we don't need to feel like e are hindering you! It's sad this one person ruined many great trips to this establishment. Than I find out she's actually a manager. Yikes. Food was mediocre but service was worse.

Great traditional tavern in a small town. The history oozes from the walls. You recognize that generations of celebrations likely took place here and you get a great local vibe.
