We went for a drive and decided to stop for a late lunch. Found this by accident. It is an old building with inside and outside seating (in good weather). The waitress was friendly and provided good service. It is a bit dark inside but an interesting building. The chicken wings were good and had no breading which which was nice and they were extremely hot when delivered which was great. They came with either coleslaw or carrots and dip. Prices were a bit pricy for what you got but it was good. Would go again, especially if it was summer can could sit outside.

It was okay. Fries were way too salty. It was off season, so service was a bit

Typical pub fare menu - went with the Philly cheesesteak. One very inedible gristle bite but this is not always unexpected with that “quality” of cut usually used for a cheesesteak sandwich.Beer was cold , patio view of the water was decent. Would have ordered a second but was never asked.Overall would rate ok. Nothing stands out that would make me decline to return, or go out of my way to come back..

While on a getaway away from the city, my girl and I decided to have brunch here. The fish and chips were an absolute delight that exceeded my expectations. The crispy batter encasing the tender fish was perfection, and I can't wait to come back for another serving. The drinks were also a pleasant surprise. The blue raspberry lemonade was refreshingly sweet, and the margarita had that extra zing that made it better than average. The appetizers were equally impressive. The bruschetta was a burst of freshness with tomatoes that tasted like they were plucked straight from the garden. And the mixed salad with balsamic dressing was a symphony of flavors - the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Overall, this little restaurant left me with a memorable dining experience, and I can't wait to return for more of those fantastic fish and chips along with the well-seasoned fries!
Ate lunch on the back patio. There was a half dozen of us and a few babies. The staff were great in terms of lining up high chairs and making everyone feel welcome. Food was hands down some of the best pub food I've had in a very long time. Fish and chips were great. Their fries are top-notch if you like handcut chips. And the coleslaw was on point. Great sitting right on the water. 13/10 would recommend to anyone. I know I'll be stopping here every time we head to Muskoka from now on

Nice place to sit and eat and look out over the water. Service was good but food was not we both had sandwiches because the were sold out of hamburgers?? Also out of fries?? Buns for the sandwiches were over toasted and onion rings were overcooked. There were only a few customers. How could the food get overcooked.?

The Bala Falls Pub is a great place for dinner. The food was excellent and reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and service was quick. I would recommend the Pickerel and Chips.
