Bala Falls Pub is a charming restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. The atmosphere is lovely, with a welcoming and friendly vibe that makes visitors feel at home. The service is top-notch, with attentive and thoughtful staff who ensure guests have a good time. The restaurant is popular for drinks and pub food, with a good selection of draft beer on tap and rotating specials.
The menu features a variety of options, including the popular supreme burger and the black bean burger, which can be made vegan. The food is generally well-received, with the fries being a particular highlight. The poutine is also highly recommended, and the chicken fingers are good as well. The Caesar salad is huge, perfect for sharing. The Bala Falls Pub offers a very casual family lunch spot, with high chairs available and a good atmosphere.
The restaurant also offers a lovely outdoor seating area with a view of the water, making it a scenic and relaxing place to dine. Despite closing early, staff often go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The food portions are large, and the outdoor patio overlooking Lake Muskoka is a highlight, with friendly ducks visiting the tables. Overall, Bala Falls Pub is a must-visit spot when in Bala, Ontario's cranberry capital.
