Basic pub food in bala. Nice outdoor patio by lake. Indoors is loud when busy. Food is decent. Small menu but some good standard pub options. Service is fast and staff friendly but busy.
We went today for lunch and the patio was the only space available, inside was not open. The breaded chicken sandwich was overcooked and dry and the onion rings were overcooked too. Fish and chips were not the greatest, small piece and lots of batter, not much fish. Staff was friendly but when I mentioned a few things they didn't seem concerned to me. At least the beer was nice and cold.
Awesome food. Great chicken wings, and fantastic fish and chips. Return vist,(MAY 23rd/25 As always wings were perfect tasting but very small this time around. Ordered their smash burger , which was very bland tasting ,not crispy and hap hazzardly thrown together .It was a mess when i opened the takeout box. Restaurant wasn't busy due to it being a rainy night. Come on guys, make a better burger
