Moon River Lookout Restaurant & Catering

Our bus tour to a nearby Cranberry farm stopped in here the other day. The kitchen and service staff were gracious and accommodating to our group of 49 people.

The food was absolutely delicious, cranberry chicken with scalloped potatoes and roasted root veggies done country style. This was followed up with cranberry apple crumble, fresh and hot from the kitchen.

What an experience, thanks so much to the staff.

Amazing private service at Moon River Lookout Restaurant over the weekend. Tiffany and her staff were gracious with their time to make our dinner party full and satisfied. The 3-course meal was delicious and so filling. Highly recommend the Shrimp Diablo as an appetizer ? If you're in the Bala area with a group, I would highly recommend connecting with Moon River.

Tiffany and Chef Ken hosted a private 3 course dinner for our group. The food was amazing and portions were generous. Service was also top notch; Tiffany was extremely friendly, courteous and ensured our evening was enjoyable. Thanks for the amazing dining experience!

Amazing food and staff must try

We had an amazing Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, and the service perfect and swift as always.

Delicious food, great staff! However they were understaffed, and it was unusually busy because of the Bala Cranberry festival. Overall a great experience! Would go there again!!!

Tiffany & Chef Ken were a pleasure to work with. We ordered a themed catered dinner with less than a week's notice. They were not only happy to accommodate us but Chef Ken put together a mouth-watering menu that fit our budget and theme. Tiffany was very sweet to deal with and the food itself was incredible. Thank you both again!!!

The place to go for fine dining in Bala.

A wonderful little restaurant with a great view. The service can be a bit slow, but the food is great!

Great staff, great atmosphere, great food. Relaxing and comfortable fine dining with great pricing and you don't have to dress to the nine's to get a seat.

Awesome food and great service despite the extra 20,000 people in town for the Cranberry Festival. Ordered from the lunch menu themed for the festival. The fries were homemade and not greasy. The chicken club sandwich with cranberry mayo was very tasty. Will definitely return when we attend the next Cranberry Festival.

A little gem in Muskoka, amazing food and amazing atmosphere. Right by the Bala falls so a walk before dinner is perfect. Make sure you reserve your table to make sure you get in.

Always VERY tasty with awesome service provided by the owners: Chef Ken working the magic and Tiffany showcasing how attentive service can MAKE a meal. We've enjoyed Anniversaries, Special Birthday parties and other occasions, but really, it's just great to get out and get treated to special fare at 'The Moon'. Oh, and the view is pretty sweet too!
