The food, the price and the people make this a not to be missed place.
In a world of bad fish n chips that are over priced, this is refreshing. $21 for a 3 piece Haddock large fries....can't beat it.
Place doesn't look like much for an outdoor eatery, but it always has good staff and good clientele. My wife and I ofter split the 3 piece, we always find good folks to chat with. Super friendly

Great place, it's been busy everytime I've been there but waiting time is a minimal and definitely worth the wait

Open 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day) located just off 400 highway, at 2195 Muskoka District Road 38, Bala, ON.
Trust me, the batter issues mentioned in recent reviews have been resolved. There was an issue in that the normal batter used from Quaker, was unavailable for an extended period this summer (the 2nd year in a row, despite assurances to contrary). Plans are to order extra inventory, just...
