The Hook & Ladder Bar and Grill

I don’t like writing reviews but I had to let the Hook & Ladder and everyone else needs to know that these wings are absolutely PHENOMENAL. Big fan. Will definitely be back

Nice restaurant with good food. We ordered fish and chips, and a clubhouse sandwich. Fish was good and the breading was nice and thin. Clubhouse has decent chunks of chicken and the bacon was done the way I asked for it. Fries were a little crispy. Waitress was friendly and attentive

The firehouse theme is amazing. The place is very friendly, and its homemade fish and chips sauce is one of a kind.

First time at the restaurant — a very cute place, not expensive. I can’t say there’s a large variety, but the food was tasty.
The only downside was that we waited almost an hour — just for a burger.

Wow! Have had great experiences during the lunch and dinner hours…this morning for breakfast was awful! So slow…food was tasteless and cold. Very disappointed

Oh my god wow. What a gem of a restaurant!!! Truly lives up to its name and is absolutely DIVINE!!!

We stayed in black lake cabins which is 5 minutes down the road from the restaurant ( bala ) …

We had dinner and breakfast here 100% totally will be back wish we found this place day 1 of our trip !!

You won’t get sick of this food there’s always something to try.

Staff are friendly , restaurant is also clean , definitely gonna be a yearly tradition !

We had breakfast at this restaurant with some friends in Muskoka. Nice, clean and friendly cafe with a good hearty breakfast at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend!
