Don't be fooled by the exterior of this building. It appears to be unkept and aged, but it absolutely is not! We almost kept driving because it looked closed, and were very happy that we checked the door. The food was exceptional! Delicious and filling. We both had breakfast with coffee, and they were both hot and fresh. The omelettes were full of vegetables and cheese, and the shredded hash browns were crispy and not at all greasy. We'll definitely head over there again when we're back in the area.

We got the steak stir-fry and cheeseburger. This is a nice quiet place to watch the game, the service was fast a friendly, quality food at good price, and lots of choices including healthy ones. Highly recommend!

Stopped for a late breakfast during our hours long road trip home with our toddler. The food was great, I haven’t had shredded hashbrowns in ages and they were delicious. This is a very family friendly establishment. They had 2 high chairs available, and the couple running the place (I’m assuming the owners) were so personable. There were 2 other tables in there with us, both families with babies and toddlers, so it seems this is a popular spot with local families. There is also a change table in the women’s washroom. Portions were generous, food came out quickly and hot, coffee was preemptively topped up, all around a really great little mom&pop spot.

Don’t bother with Dave’s. first impression when entering was that they needed to change their fryer oil, the place was stuffy and stunk of old oil. We decided to stay and ordered our breakfasts. We were asked how we would like our eggs and we both ordered eggs over medium. They arrived very under done with a side of what was supposed to be hash browns. The hash browns were some awful colour of grey, covered in oil and again barely cooked. I left them untouched just based on the appearance of them. Also our food was delivered without cutlery so I had to go looking for the server. Had a look at the filth all around the cash and then made the mistake of looking down the hall leading to the Kitchen. The health inspector simply must stop by, the place is disgustingly filthy. If they were ever inspected perhaps next time the inspector should do it unannounced. Completely disappointed and kinda disgusted.
