Came here because of a recommendation from our holiday hosts. This place was some kind of strange. The service seemed to be a bit confused, but not unfriendly. Food was however only average. Sorry.

Make a reservation! YOU GOTTA EAT HERE! breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had dinner Friday started with Greek salad and onion rings (so good). Dinner we had the fish and chips upgraded to poutine and the Big Crunch chicken sandwich with fries (amazing). Raisin butter tarts for dessert (so yummy I ordered 6 to pick up the day we left) Sunday went for breakfast 😋 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham and home fries with toast and fesh jam. Filling and fantastic!!! Shout out to Kaylee ♓️ the sweetest server!! Vegetarian friendly, Vegan options, Gluten free options. Great team run this 👏 Recommend

Picked up takeout on the way through town and were amazed at the quality of food and the price!! Was amazing tasting and huge portions! Nothing could have been improved! We had the big crunch burger and the rhubarb honey chicken!

We stumbled upon this cute little local spot on our way to camp and noticed it had great reviews — and honestly, it totally lived up to the hype! We ordered two sandwiches — the Crunchy Burger and the Texas — and both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the woman we met there (who we believe is the owner) was so kind, patient, and welcoming. Everything felt homemade, thoughtful, and full of heart. Such a lovely experience — we’re so glad we found it!

We popped in for breakfast based on google ratings and we’re disappointed, hence me updating the reviews. We waited a while without being greeted, which should have been my first clue. My husband suggested we leave but I thought we should wait a bit longer as it was busy- definitely the wrong decision. There were two servers -neither one very friendly. My eggs were cold, the pancakes dry and the sausage looked disgusting. Also my oder was wrong but the server never had time to come back to check in. After my breakfast was severed I had to wait for cutlery. The server handed me wet cutlery for the table. The only good thing was the bacon and a friendly local who walked in for breakfast, saw the chaos and stepped up to help. He wiped down tables, took a few drink orders and likely salvaged a few more reviews. Seriously, keep on driving!
I decided to look up places to eat while visiting Bancroft and came across this location. Honestly I'm glad I checked it out the service was great and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. I'm not in Bancroft often but at least I know where I can stop for good food and service the next time I'm back

Food - great, tasty, and well prepared Service - I found it to be very casual, a little too casual.. Atmosphere - poor. The carpet looked gross, and set up was mediocre.
