We moved to Bancroft in April 2025. We have been craving Chinese food but were told to stay away from here. We finally gave in and tried it. Absolutely incredible! We got the dinner for 4 but substituted the wings for general tao. Everything was absolutely incredible. We will definitely be ordering again .

Haven’t had food that’s both good and cheap for a while, so it gets a 4+1/2 star from me. Food: ordered their combo plate. For $13 you can’t beat it, and are all freshly cooked, not the cooked in batch in morning distribute the hole day type. Atmosphere: good ol’ Chinese restaurant vibe from the 2000s. Service: great! Time: perhaps the only complaint here; took more than 30 minute to get the food, but all and all not worth docking off a whole star, so probably 4.5, rounded up.
In general if you’re looking for a good fix then this is the place to go. Not necessarily quick, but the wait can be worth it.

The food here is so good. I got lemon chicken special fried rice chicken lo mein and an egg roll they were all cooked to perfection and delicious 10 out of 10 would eat here again The only concern I have is the fact that there is no ramp available to get down from the parking lot to the front door of the restaurant

This is a dated Chinese restaurant. It takes me back to 70's when we used to frequent these restaurants when I was in my teens. However, all the timeless decor aside, this is a great little gem in the town of Bancroft! The food is tasty, hot and fresh. The service was friendly and fast. What else could you ask for? Definitely going back!

Decent small town Chinese food. Tips to order: chow mein is NOT crispy noodles the traditional way it is chop suey with chips on the side (don’t be fooled). Shang hai noodle although good is udon noodle not skinny rice noodle. Lo mein is the skinny egg noodle. Chicken balls are classic as usual and the general tao chicken was great too. We only did take out but it seems everyone else does also.

My husband and I go to Bancroft for the Gemboree every year. We decided to order in Chinese food for the night. We were happily surprised. The food was good, just lacking in a little bit of salt but otherwise very pleasant and filling. We would definitely go back there anytime we have a craving for Chinese food.

Had a great simple meal here. Good, flavorful food, nicely served in a clean comfortable space. Singapore noodles and Cantonese noodles were delicious. Generous servings with lots of meat. Service was quick and friendly. Convenient parking just off the adjacent street by the entrance. If you are in Bancroft or passing thru worth stopping in for a bite
