They removed the veg burger. So no option for vegetarians. I asked if they could do a grilled cheese since they can do sandwiches and she said only what's on the menu. This left a bad feeling. No options provided or ability to accommodate.
The fries were decent. Not Montreal at all. Maybe a hint of it. But I go to Montreal often for food and it's not the same.
My sister enjoyed her burger though.
Edit* their comment on my review only proved my point on their attitude. I did not hold up their line. I was very kind to their staff and stepped aside to let my sister decide. I understand it was very hot. I've been in the heat all week. Never experienced this level of rude from any food establishment. Won't be coming back and will tell everyone to avoid at all costs.

We’re from San Diego, California and we look forward to poutine from this chip wagon every chance we get to come to Algonquin area. We were so sad they weren’t in Maynooth when we first came up but luckily we found out the truck was in Bancroft now. I always get the peameal burger with the poutine fries, it’s delicious. We’ve tried most of the other items and you really can’t go wrong here. Excited they have T-shirts, only wish they took apple/card payments.

No chip truck can beat them. They have the best poutine and customer handling is brilliant. Quality and Quantity both are best and pocket friendly.

Great Poutine. Good service! Sadly it’s a Ground mush burger (patty itself is like a 2 star) on a nice bun with decent cheese. I prefer a real hand made patty personally (kinda hard to find these days, which makes it a great find when found :) the places that offer both with a price break make the most sense
