This restaurant has good food but really lousy service I was just there and the server literally forgot my sisters plate and I had to remind him it will be the last time I ever go there this man should actually be fired it's a negligence

If you're used to having Indian food then you won't like it here because the taste isn't that great. The garlic naan seemed to be purchased from outside and then masala applied on top of it. The naan wasn't made at the restaurant. The chicken curry seemed to be just tomato puree and nothing else. Its not something that would make you ill, but the food they serve here isn't really tasty enough. So, if you're craving for authentic Indian food then don't go here. It probably has few 5 star ratings because Bancroft does not have a lot of Indian restaurants as such.

Chennai Chicken curry was average, Naan was flat( tasted like store brought frozen Naan).Chat was good.The staff did not let us use the dustbin earlier stating that it is not open for public use.They advertise saying that they serve baby food but nothing was available when we got there. I liked their veg options. The staff was not friendly.We noticed that his behavior was biased against people of colour. The person taking our order seemed very disinterested in serving us.

Wish I could give negative stars for service. The worst server ever. I feel if he didn’t like his job then he should just quit since it might just increase the restaurant overall. Food was average but it’s the customer service that counts. No utensils, no plates, no smiles given back to us. Just awful

Horrible experience, the server was constantly frowning and was unhappy to host anyone. There was no courtesy whatsoever. We had to call out to him from the kitchen multiple times even though we were the only ones at the table. Food was just about average. Overall- wouldn’t recommend
