Greta little Cafe run and funded primarily by volunteer to support rural public transit. Food is awesome. Staff are awesome. What's not to like? Go check it out totally worth it. Like dropping by Mum's for lunch.....if your mom is a good cook/baker.

I stopped in at the Wattle & Daub today on a rainy afternoon and was delighted by the warm and inviting atmosphere and the overall vibe of the place! Dimly lit, with fairy lights and jazz music. The perfect vibe for an afternoon lunch in town.I got an interesting french onion and swiss panini and my partner, a canadian grilled cheese, served warm and crispy with a side salad option.The warm Chai Latte was incredible!!
Had coffees and cookies at this cute and cozy cafe! Server lady was super nice. Gluten free treats are amazing (no vegan options though). On the side of the river by rail tracks, a beautiful stop if you’re passing through.

My sister has been telling me about this place an how good the food is for awhile now so I had to try. Today I got the tomato basil soup and it is absolutely delicious! Will definitely be stopping in again to try more of the foods they offer!

A must try if in Bancroft. We came across this gem because the city EV charger is right next door. We order the soup, biscuits, and sandwiches, all homemade and delicious. All reasonably priced! Will definitely make an effort to come back when in Hasting Highlands.

Wow! I have no words for the meal that was plated in front of me this afternoon. Absolutely delicious- my mouth started watering before I even took my first bite (and still is)! I got the tomato soup, chicken pesto panini and a nanaimo bar. Truly this was the best food I have ever had in my life. The cafe might be small but the food is PACKED FULL of flavour. I could go on and on about the food and atmosphere, but sadly I don’t have enough space in my review. W & D Cafe is definitely a 10/10, 5 STARS, 100% amazing and deserves way more credit! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
