Exceptional! After several visits to Thailand and trying very hard to replicate some of their dishes I can attest to the quality and taste of the Thai cuisine here. It is authentic, made with fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious. Their pricing is very reasonable. Next time I’m in Barrie we’ll be sure to stock up on a number of their frozen dishes! Well done!!

I ordered the Red Curry from the lunch menu and the Pad Thai off the regular menu. I have tried a lot of Thai restaurants in Barrie. I would say the Red Curry with chicken was excellent and so was the rice that I ordered with it. So far I rate this the best Red Curry in all of Barrie. I wish I would have ordered the Red Curry from the regular menu so I could have enjoyed leftovers, it was that good!! Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the Pad Thai the taste was not to my liking, but I certainly would not let that stop anyone from trying it on their own. If you have not tried this Thai restaurant you should. I rate it a 4.5 only because the Pad Thai was not to my liking.

Wow this is such a hidden gem! Very fresh and the portion is amazing for what you pay! I ordered take out and was also pleased to see that it did not come in a plastic container like I requested !

I’ve been to the kitchen a couple of times now, and I fall in love with it more each visit!! Uma and all the chefs are wonderful and professional. The Thai coconut breaded shrimp is one of the best appetizers; it’s always crispy, tender, and juicy, and it pairs perfectly with the coconut dipping sauce. The Tom Yum Goong shrimp is my go-to soup. It honestly transports me back to Bangkok with how good the flavour is, and the slight spiciness makes it the perfect soup for cold winter days. The Thai mango salad is a must-order every single time; it balances out the meal and is so refreshing. Pad Krapow is my favourite main dish, the size is huge with lots of meat, vegetables and an egg on top, it would usually takes me two meals to finish it.

Ordered takeout; the bento box is a great deal for the amount of food and was really delicious! The green curry has the perfect amount of spice and a ton of veggies. Will definitely order again and try more dishes.

The best Thai food I have ever had!!! I’ve eaten Uma’s (the owner’s) food before she owned this restaurant and I can taste the love and fresh ingredients in every bite of her cooking. The cooking makes you feel like you are having a lovingly made home cooked meal. If you are looking for yummy, authentic Thai food, I don’t think you could get better than Little Thai Kitchen!

Something changed. Maybe new owner or chef? This used to be one of our favorite take out spots. Seems like recipes have all changed and not for the better. Watery curries absent flavour and spring rolls that taste like they had been frozen. Lots of new odd menu items. I guess not all good things last forever.

Our neighbour recommended this little gem. We had the summer fresh rolls and the Massaman Curry. They both were delicious, full of flavour, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back!
