Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar

We had Father's Day lunch at Baton Rouge on Bayfiekd St in Barrie. The restaurant was very nicely designed inside, with a very prominent bar and bar seating area. After being seated, our server, Paul, took care of our party of 4 exceptionally well. He was personable, witty, funny, and a terrific waiter. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, and 2 grilled salmon, one prime rib sandwich and one shrimp risotto for our entrees. The food was delicious! Portions were large! We were so impressed that we promised to come back as soon as we could. Well done, Baton Rouge Barrie!

As always quick service and portions are a good size. Servers always make you feel welcome and like they know you.

It’s a great place! The food was alright! Their espresso martini was delicious. The service was fantastic. It wasn’t a fan of the live music.

DELICIOUS food that arrives hot , fresh and perfectly cooked, and portions are big enough to share.

Service was impeccable. ESTARA was very professional but made us feel very welcome, providing EXCELLENT tableside service including a few jokes throughout the meal.

Manger i believe was Bryce cant remember the servers name was a female who was excellent at her job. They were amazing. My wife has a very limited ability of food when we go out with allergies and restrictions. They communicated very well and even though most food is pre seasoned they made it work and accommodated my wife's needs. We have never had this great of service at other restaurants. Even with hitting a road block with most options. They still had food made and ready to come out with the other 3 meals and we were able to eat together. As long as she can continue to get a plain chicken which was cooked perfectly and not dried out we will make this our regular place.

I love Baton Rouge, I really do .. however I went here with my Ex Boyfriend for my birthday and had gotten very sick from their Steak. To be fair; I do order a Rare steak expecting the best of the best to know what they're doing, so I could only assume the Steak wasn't cooked right as I'm not sure. It was still an amazing dinner with great service and atmosphere, lovely drinks too - however I'm scared to go back after this experience. The taste and service was worth the $150, however I wish I could've kept the great food in my stomach.

Excellent service, the food was amazing. I had mushrooms with stuffed crab for an appetizer sea bass with risotto for the main. The staff is very friendly and quick with the service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I had a very pleasant experience. The food was yummy! The wait time wasn't bad and the team ensure that we were ok by periodically checking in. I would definitely recommend! Also!.....it was my first time tasting a mocktail and can I say...kudos!
