First time here. I could not believe the slow pace of the young woman taking the orders. It was painful to watch her and an unreasonable wait considering that there were only 2 people ahead of us. It was not busy at all, there were 3 to 4 tables with customers who were already eating. We finally placed our order and sat down to wait and wait and wait. In regards to the food, the burger was really good but the fries were frozen fries in my opinion. No fresh cut fries here, no taste. It was also difficult to know when your order was ready. They need to assign a name or a number for each customer. In today's world, I felt that I was in a time warp in regards to their set up and customer service.
First time ever there. I've lived in barrie for 20+ years and never been. Amazing food. Amazing service. Will be back. Keep up the great work
Should definitely specify when a poutine is made with shredded cheese and not curds
Always loved the food even as a child
Never disappointed going here :)
Was in town for a hockey game & was craving a burger.
Was welcomed with a warm hello & friendly service.
Food was quick & delicious. Will definitely visit again next time in Barrie.
Barrie burger has two patty, but itβs dry.
The food here is just okay, but the clerks here are friendly.
I just want to send a big thank you to all the staff here for this past Sunday during the ice storm and power outage. This place did an amazing job for how busy and crazy it was. Food and service was next level. Thank you! π

When the lights went out across Barrie last weekend, Barrie Burger lit up the community β not just with power (they had debit working, yβall π), but with kindness, hustle, and next-level service.
While most spots were shuttered, this little burger haven kept things moving like a well-oiled machine. The lines? Handled. The crowd? Calm. The vibe? Straight-up wholesome. Staff kept every order organized with Jedi-level precision β no confusion, no chaos, just pure, delicious efficiency.
They were incredibly accommodating to both dine-in folks and those just popping in to grab a hot meal to go. Everyone got treated with warmth and respect β something rare even on a good day, let alone during a blackout.
And the food? Still π₯. Still juicy. Still Barrie Burger perfection. No cutting corners, no drop in quality β just full hearts and full bellies all around.
In a moment where the city felt a bit upside down, Barrie Burger was a reminder of what community feels like. Hats off to the staff and even the patrons β it was a shared moment of kindness and calm, powered by great food and even better humans.
10/10 would recommend β even during an apocalypse. π§ππ‘β€οΈ
Oil needs to be changed fries and buddies onion rings where dark and overcooked. Burger was ok. Pretty bland expected a better burger when it's in the name of the place

Food tasted SO good! Poutine would be 5 star with cheese curds.
Just giving a 4 stars because the mayo the offer tin this place is soooo sweet. Everything else is amazing.
Hands down among the best burgers in a 50 mile radius.
The name says it all! Well, not really. There is a very large menu, and if it holds up to the burger I got, then it is truly special!
The Barrie cheeseburger was great. I had the new special sauce with it, super tasty. Fries were really good too!
I absolutely love old-school burger joints like this. The atmosphere is chill, with ample seating and great food for fair prices.
Really , really great , clean, unpretentious just plain good and lots of it . Way to go BB, been a customer since the Bayfield St. days
