Finally tried basil house after knowing about it for a while, and now I'm regretting not trying it earlier! I usually only get the rare beef pho, the broth is honestly amazing. Last time I ordered I also got some beef and broccoli and it was very very good as well, the order came with a side of rice for it! Every time I have called he has said the order will be ready in 10-15 mins, I live across town so he told me to let him know so he can pack it a little later so that the broth doesn't sit in the to-go containers. Awesome service

It’s good Thai food. The Tom yum soup and the pad Thai were my favourites. For the price and the fact that we’re in Barrie, super solid. I guess these 1 star reviewers were expecting tier 1 Thai food you’d get in downtown Toronto.

First time visit here. Ordered pad see ew and was given pad thai instead. Spoke with the restaurant who refused to acknowledge they provided the wrong dish. You can check other reviewers. I'm not the first customer this has happened to. If you do order the pad see ew, be prepared to get pad thai. Definitely don't recommend here because of the service and also food authenticity especially if they are serving pad thai instead of pad see ew.

I rarely leave negative reviews, I just usually never go back if I didn't like something but this time I wanted to share. We ordered from this place from UberEats today. When the guy from the restaurant called regarding our order, he was rude but that's beside the point. We got fried rice and pad thai. Fried rice had a fly in it and pad thai had a piece of foil which I accidentally started on chewing. This is not okay.
