Beertown Public House Barrie

Awesome place to bring your dog on the patio. We were traveling, and it worked out really well. Even have a dog menu.

Love this place! This is my favourite spot for apps & drinks. If a restaurant has spinach dip, we almost always try it. Beertown’s is BY FAR the best one I’ve tried to date, sooo good with the pretzels 🤩 Whenever we can’t decide where to go, we always go here and are never disappointed!

Great patio and dog friendly

Haven't been to this Beertown for a while and found them very accommodating for our two large groups! Quick service even though it was three o'clock. My food, Blue Bell chicken sandwich was wicked and the Beertown salad always is good. My kid has chicken strips and they were delish, but the pickle potatoes salad was lacking taste, like salt or more mayo or something.
Fish tacos were yum, of course, beer was icy.

Tonya from beer town helped put my bridal party and was so fantastic about taking pictures and not to mention the quick service too!

The manager Will came out and greeted us and our dogs. Brought them treats, water and dog beds.

Very busy on weekends and holidays but beautiful pub restaurant in Barrie. The staff are awesome. Enjoyed the patio on a beautiful summer day. Dog friendly - even give your dog a small bed and a bowl of water. Have a doggie menu! Our food was delicious - the fish & chips was so filling. The beer and specialty drinks menu is hard to choose from as there is so many to choose. We had the creme brule with raspberries and it was soo delicious and proceeds go to a great cause. Will be back many more times!

Really great place to eat and drink excellent beer! The food is amazing, sweet potato fries very recommended. So many varieties of tap beer. Service was great! They have even pads for dogs in the patio.. Definitely best place in the area.

The music volume could be lower. It makes it difficult to enjoy conversation especially when the restaurant is full with everyone trying to talk over the music. Service by Jenny was exceptional. 🥰

The food was very good. French fries were a bit small but were promptly replaced with another portion. Also, one of the guests did not like a particular beer and was offered another beer.

Overall great experience. Been there a number of time and will return. This time unfortunately we were seated in front of an extremely large group who were extremely loud and we found it difficult to hear each other at our own table ( 3 of us).

And I loved that the plant-based menu was already on the table so I didn’t have to request it. They clearly mark vegan dishes with a little flag so that you know you are getting the right meal. I was also pleased to see that they noted opportunities to veganize certain cocktails as well! The Caesar salad was decent, and served with a whole block of tofu which was impressive, haha. I had a great experience! I ordered the plant-based Standard Burger and added cheddar sheez and facon bacon—totally worth the extra cost. The flavors were amazing, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Their plant-based menu has some truly delicious options.
