First time coming here, we knew it used to get good reviews - sadly, we didn’t know ownership had changed. The wings and ribs tasted like old meat. Hardly any meat on the ribs. Cornbread and coleslaw were inedible - awful. Beans and fries were ok, although beans should have been BBQ. It’ll be the last time we use this restaurant and judging by a lot of recent reviews we aren’t alone.

Man, I’ve only been here 3 times but it’s my new spot. Everything so far has been frikn amazing. The amount of orders going out the door and pick up orders , this place is known. Soo good!!!!

Sadly a once great bbq restaurant is but a shadow of its former self. New ownership is not always a good thing. Food simply isn’t up to standard. Honestly eat somewhere else

Amazing food. We ordered take out for a birthday celebration. We tried the beef, pork and chicken. Delicious authentic smoked bbq flavour. Great portion sizes. We will be back!

Ordered a burger for takeout. Bun was so stale it disintegrated in my hands. Coleslaw is rancid and when I called they blamed it on the bakery they bought the bun at…there was no napkins or fork in the takeout container and I told her I was eating it at Minets Point.Total disregard when I called to tell them their food was bad. This was a good place to eat in Barrie. No longer the case….ill never go back again.

Haven’t been in years but decided to go back tonight. Didn’t know the owners changed. Nothing like what it used to be. The coleslaw was horrible and wings were mediocre at best. Used to have a 5 star rating from me but not anymore.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The ribs were bone-dry with sauce just slapped on, the wings were mid, fries were soggy like they’d been reheated, cornbread was dry, and the coleslaw had literally gone bad.

I called to complain and the manager basically shrugged it off, saying it was packaged that morning. Okay… but don’t you check your food before handing it to customers? At least open it and smell it?

I wasted $70 on food that went straight into the garbage. Hands down, this has to be the worst Big Bone location out there

I was very disappointed with my order. The coleslaw tasted off, the cornbread was dry, and the fries seemed like they had been cooked earlier and just reheated in the microwave. The ribs were undercooked, which was the biggest letdown. Overall, the quality of the food was poor and not worth the price.

We lost another one boys. You know what that means. This place used to be good. I went for the first time in years the other day. Worst sweet potato fries and cornbread I've ever had. Very small portions too. I don't think they'll be around much longer with this kind of service. Probably just relying solely on name recognition at this point until everyone realizes it's under new and much worse ownership.

When I used to work at this place years back, I was expected to make some good quality food for a fair price. We remodeled the dining room to make you feel like you were at a back yard BBQ. Music was backyard BBQ style, tv had some kind of BBQ feeling and the place hit you in the face with the smell of smoked ribs and wings!

Since the new owners took over this place had crashed! Theres been no change to the style of the place, it has this STRONG! smell of burning incense's almost to where you can't breath. Music that I can't understand (not because it too quiet). And the tv is just news. BBQ atmosphere does not exist!

Food was mid. If you like moshed fries because there's a lake of gravy on your poutine then I guess it's fine. Staff was unwelcoming, felt like I ruined this lady's life after saying something about the smell of the place.

Getting the food was fast though. But how long does it really take to throw a few fries on my gravy lunch...

All in all, 1 of 20... will never be back witch is sad. Place used to be pretty good.

Meat was dry, and very minimal meat on the ribs. Although their party packs are a great option for large groups, I wouldn’t order again.

Great service and good was amazing. We had the rib and smoked wing combo… both were really good. The fries are some of the best crunchy fries we’ve ever had!! Will come back!
