The problem is the lady she don’t remember the order and we need to ask her couple time and the toilet is so so so dirty it’s gross not good but the rest was so nice and wonderful but really concern about toilet ……. Pee on the wall and not clean for long time sorry …. Please make sure every morning before you open you toilet was perfectly clean check this …. I go clean for you because so désappointed food perfect owner was so wonderful

Came here for the first time. The food was good but they forgot the avocado not only in my dish but also my friends too. I only realized towards the end of the meal that it was missing as we were enjoying our conversation. She then noticed hers was missing too. We notified the server and she apologized. I know it’s not her fault but I feel like with the prices of food, especially avocados that I should have had a discount on my food. That didn’t happen. It’s one thing if you don’t have it in house, but you should notify the customers that beforehand or discount their meal somewhat. I mean the food is pricey for what you get.I also gave 3 stars cuz I felt the server just wasn’t that great. She failed to take our dishes after 30 minutes. She also didn’t give us our bill and we had to walk up to the bar to pay. She also didn’t seem super busy since there was only 4-5 tables (including ours). Hate to say but I won’t be back, there’s other places in Barrie that I would be happy to pay for better food and service.

My boyfriend struggled that night ?.Otherwise the food is good. Taste wise can't complain about anything. I came here for my friends birthday and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was so wonderful. They took photos of us, surprised us with having songs picked out for the birthday and had a pice of cake for her too. I've never been to a more inviting and friendly place before. The inside was wonderful too, having local art hung on the walls. The food was delicious and served in good time. I'd 100% recommend other people to come here and have events here. I'll be coming back again for another amazing time soon ?

Food I ate was nice. They served a bowl of fruit salad that looked old. I didn't eat it, my daughter didnt eat hers either. No one refilled our coffee.
First off, we came in and no one greeted us. Had to help ourselves to the bar for the menu. The owner came out of the kitchen to which then I asked if we can sit anywhere and she directed us to an empty table which still hasn’t been cleaned (saying somebody was already cleaning it). We stood awkwardly for a few minutes beside the unclean table and just sat down eventually while the lady server was still settling the bill from another table beside us. Finally somebody came to clean our table and took our orders. Our drinks arrived quickly but my hot chocolate didn’t come with a stirring spoon so I burned my tongue a little bit trying to sip on the melting whipped cream. After nearly an hour, we had almost finished our drinks and I asked for some water. Still no food. After 15 minutes, still no water. I beckoned for the waitress and reminded her about the water and also asked about our order. It didn’t take her 2 seconds to answer they lost our order but it is now being plated. My partner and I are now slowly losing interest over the food. The owner comes out and apologizes profusely and offers us food on the house, got a muffin and an order of potato fritters which we were thankful for. After maybe another 15 minutes the food is finally in front of us but I have now lost my appetite. The home fries were okay but the rest of our orders were delicious. Owner kept checking how we were and kept offering anything “on the house” but we were happy with what we had. They gave us a further discount during payment time which I really appreciated. If it weren’t for the kindness and apologies, I would’ve given one star. Maybe next time the server should be more attentive and have better presence of mind when serving customers. And we could’ve appreciated being informed of the order mishap rather than wondering what has happened (we could’ve taken our food to go because we were still travelling back to Toronto). All in all, it was an okay experience. May come back. Maybe.

Probably the worst service I’ve ever encountered. I made reservations for my birthday, my guests and I weren’t acknowledged for 15 minutes when arrived , it took 40 minutes for our drinks and for our order to be taken. I will say The food was delicious and reasonable. But the service was absolutely dreadful.

Bloom bistro is fantastic! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The menu is quite varied. The dishes I saw and ordered were very fresh, and it was evident that the dishes are home made.
