California Sandwiches Barrie

A tasty, hearty sandwich and great for adults but too much for most kids so I was a bit disappointed they didn't have their mini sandwiches available when I was there. I just got a regular to split for the kids so it worked out even though they wanted their own like the adults but the food is good regardless.

I used to love California sandwiches in Downsview. These ones were dry and the staff is not friendly at all. I won't go back.

I had the Hot Chicken Deluxe, when your order the deluxe you get most of the fixings. Sweet peppers, onions, cheese and mushroom. The bread soaked in the sauce and the chicken was tender. The chicken sandwich was the size of my hand. Very filling for dinner!

I came in a few days ago as a first come person and a young man named Sam helped me out I had a bit of troubles picking I’m a person who has troubles choosing so Sam asked me what types of meals I enjoy and after a while I decided on veal sandwich and he didn’t get angry with me taking so long even with the lineup I felt no pressure he took his time getting everything I wanted with a kind voice most people get angry and I can hear it in their tone of voice but this young man was calm and collective if there is a way he can get a big tip of some kind he should thank you young man.

Best veal sandwich I've had in a decade

Two times I’ve been there, side condiments were missing. Today I put in my order, I ate in, my order was fine other than bits of aluminum imbedded in bun (seen other post mentioned this too). My sandwich was really good. My take home order was suppose to have cheese and sweet peppers, on arrival home, NO cheese or sweet peppers.

This was my second time eating there, and our first experience, we were missing the sides as well.

My GF doesn’t want to go back to a place that can’t look at receipt and follow what is on it. Order 61 on this date.

Love this place i stop in any time I can all the food is amazing but my go to is the hot steak on a bun it's a really god size and just filled with steak and onions in my opinion a bit more sauce and taping is my order try it out you wont be disappointed
