They had GF food, wasn't the best but at least it's decent. The service however was phenomenal as the lady and I had a nice conversation and it didn't take that long to get my food. Personally I found the food to be ok but then again, im a very picky person.

Went into the store for the first time today, bought a few items. Staff was super friendly. Tried the cheese bread and OMG its so incredibly good. Tastes like normal bread, so fresh, fluffy and soft, it really doesn't need to be toasted(as I was advised by the helpful staff). I am not sure if it will last the 2 days on the counter, its so good. Looking forward to trying the other items I bought. Will definitely be back!

Awful customer service. The girl working this past Thursday evening was incredibly disrespectful and unhelpful. I was so excited to try this bakery for the first time as their baked goods looked delicious, but after a short interaction with her, I had no interest in supporting this business. The owner should vet their employees better.

We have a grandchild who has been newly diagnosed with Celiac. It's been a challenge to find gluten free food she likes! So far anything we've bought from Cal's she has loved. She has had the Pogos, double chocolate cookie, cheese bagel and we made a personal pizza from their flatbread. We are so grateful this place exists. It's a relief to know there's no chance of cross contamination as is a serious concern most places we go. The staff is so friendly on top of the great food options. Thank you for everything you do.

The BEST place in Barrie for gluten-free products!!!! 💫 Their bagels and cinnamon rolls are beyond amazing, and they’re always baking up new seasonal treats. Even my partner, who isn’t gluten-free, loves this bakery.
The owners and staff are so warm and genuine, and you can tell they truly care about their customers. Every visit feels welcoming, and it’s clear how much love they put into everything they do.
I’m so happy to finally have a go-to local spot that I can trust is 100% gluten-free and safe.
Visited Barrie and stopped at this amazing gluten free establishment! I was a first timer there and the staff were so knowledgeable, proud of their products and had great recommendations! I cannot rave about the bread, pizza and Chinese options I had purchased enough! I will be back, the three hour drive will be worth the genuine smiles and great products! We had a great experience at Cal’s bakery & Cafe! The staff were so friendly and truly knowledgeable about celiac disease, which gave us peace of mind. The owner and his wife took time to chat with us and even offered us a sample of their bread—it had amazing taste and texture! We also tried a cream cheese chocolate cookie that was delicious. So glad to have a go-to bakery we can trust!

Great small business, not many people put as much pride into there work as cal, from sourcing the best ingredients and always pushing the boundaries of gluten-free food this store embodies what all Gluten-Free products should be trying to do 👌 I'm not even gluten free. My aunt is I just get snacks for her and eat them on occasion and find they're phenomenal! 10/10 👌
