Cal is awesome. We love his food. His Carrot cakes are to Die For. All his gluten free food tastes just as good as regular food. Prices are fair. Staff is welcoming and know their stuff. A+++++++

The best and I mean THE BEST BREAD AND BAGELS. I have been looking for a good bagel for years. You guys got it right. The bread was amazing. It had cheese and herbs spread beautifully through out. The bagel was a cheese bagel. Simply the best I've ever had. Good job! I'll be coming back.

Val's is a *very good* dedicated gluten free bakery. They have many and more treats that I love here. Great muffins, and tarts, and brownies, and crinkle cookies, etc. a few misses for me (under spiced pumpkin pie tarts?), but that probably just a personal preference issue. I have not yet had a chance to try their bread, which I'd very much like to do, but they are always out when I go in. Because the bread is so good that they always sell out? Or because they don't make enough? Probably a little of column A and a little of column B.

The coffee was a very mild blend (weak) -no way it was expressing. The only steamed milk was the very thin cap. This was essentially a black coffee for the price of a cappuccino. Both coffees went down the drain. They might have good bake products and food options, but we will not be back to find out.

Saw this Gluten free bakery on route to the beach, we are not locals. Was extremely excited to find a GF spot. Not knowing the time and seeing someone open the door and come out of the bakery we decided to go in and check it out, gleefully ready to load up on as much GF treats we could fit in our two empty large coolers. We were rudely greeted with a man yelling they aren't open and to leave. Utterly disappointed and for that I would not recommend this place, even if they had good items they have left a sour taste in our mouths and put a damper on our journey. Customer service must not be a priority to this establishment.

I thought it was plain, baland, and over prized food. Crumbles were too sweet, and you could taste the glandular white sugar, so it was not cooked. Pizza was as thin as paper and just meh. Panzarotti did not have enough sauce and was soggy and just meh, too. Will not go out of my way to eat here again.

I haven’t tried the pierogi yet (I still can’t believe I have some in my freezer) but the cinnamon bun and pumpernickel could pass for not gluten free. And the service is extraordinary.

The absolute best gluten free bread I've ever tasted. The folks were kind and helpful - on my way with a real bagel breakfast sandwich. There needs to be more than five stars!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, celiac safe.

It's been a long while since my last review, it takes a very special place to spur me to write this review. We've been going to Cal's Bakery and Cafe for a few months now coz they simply have the best GF food available. Being a Coffee fanatic I never really took the Cafe part of the name seriously coz the store looks more like a bakery more than a cafe...was I wrong. Last week Cal made me an espresso that was simple fantastic. They sell Shock Coffee which is a very intense coffee taste without any bitterness. After tasting Shock Coffee for the first time, I had to buy a one pound bag for Home. Shock Coffee brewed in both my Espresso machine or my Moka 3 cup Pot are absolutely delicious. Want the best GF food and the best Coffee go to Cal's Bakery and Cafe

Great gluten free bakery wish I discovered it sooner! The white bread is fantastic good enough not to have to toast it. Also great pizza slices on fridays and the carrot cake is delicious. I just wish the made the carrot cake more often!

Amazing product but there cookies and baked goods . Best in town and actually make their product . Others in town use store bought product for tarts and pies and play it off as homemade .
