My husband and I had our first afternoon tea experience here and it was excellent. The scones were really magnificent, and the amount of food exceeded expectations. It was delicious and a lovely experience.
Came here with my mom for afternoon tea. Our experience was a 10/10. Everything was so thoughtful. Atmosphere was great, staff were lovely. The portions were large for the price, got to take some home. Sandwiches, scones and desserts were fantastic. They even had real clotted cream! I want to bring all my friends here!!! Couldn’t recommend enough
My goodness this place is fantastic! The food is too notch, customer service is excellent, ambience is oozing charm. Every visit I try something different. Last visit was a fish pie with cheesy mash potato melted on top and a lovely side salad. The individual pies you can purchase to take home(made in house) are made with phylo pastry crust and are perfection. So many to choose from. You can get a meal, scones and tea, whatever you fancy. Their scones are soft, clotted cream, delicious. I keep being drawn back. They even have a wee shop of sorts tucked in a corner you can buy British goods from. And their high tea is a gem!!!

The Royal High Tea is worth every penny. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious, the scones are yummy, and if you need more clotted cream and jam they’re yours for the asking. Of the sweets, the Eton Mess was the most delectable, but everything tasted nice. That’s a real accomplishment where there are so many different items. Often one or two things are not very good. Not in this case! We would highly recommend this experience.

Campbells British Tearoom is a charming and cozy spot that transports you straight to a traditional British tea experience. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the selection of teas is fantastic. From scones to finger sandwiches, everything was fresh and delicious, capturing the authentic flavors of a proper British afternoon tea. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing afternoon, whether you're catching up with friends or just enjoying some quiet time with a good book. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more delightful. Definitely a hidden gem!

The new owners are great. Lovely breakfast nook again. Very yummy. First fried bread, first potato scone sides. Honey available with the specialty tea. Very yummy. I like the chocolate eclairs and my wife likes the empire cookies. Meat pies are great too.

One of my favourite activities in the UK is going to tearooms and I miss it dearly whenever I’m back in Canada. Needless to say when I discovered Campbells, I had to try it out. Well, it took me right back to the Derbyshire tearooms in England! The chicken curry pie, tuna jacket potato, and raisin scone were on point. Tea was brewed perfectly. Can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu. Also loved the little tuck shop with the British sweets. One tiny thing missing - I do wish there was a Victoria sponge on the counter :)

The website is outdated and not updated with new seasonal menus and pricing. Some tables are very close to one another where you can hit their chair from moving in your own.
Only one server for a full house of customers. She was elderly, attentive and quick serving.
Got the bangers and mash which was came out hot and tasty. The gravy is on the salty side, thankfully they put it in a gravy boat.
