Fantastic spot! Incredibly clean shop with helpful and friendly service! Large portion of fries, Nice large cut of Haddock with delicious crispy batter. Salad was crisp fresh and delicious, even had some nice fresh radishes! Would give 6 stars if we could!
Ordered take out one week ago. The food was decent, but the portions were ridiculously small. To put this in perspective, four pieces of halibut and chips for four came in one small rectangular take out box. Once the fish was removed, you could literally see the bottom of the box through the small layer of chips. The large coleslaw and gravy were also packaged in styrofoam containers that would be medium sized at other fast food restaurants. There was also no tartar sauce with...read full review

Captain George's Fish & Chips offers fantastic, lightly battered fish with crispy fries. The vintage decor might need some updating, but the food speaks for itself. Don't miss out on their delicious gravy to go with the fries. The haddock is perfectly seasoned and fried for a moist inside and crispy outside.
