Meh… Food isn’t great.The owners were friendly but got overwhelmed when 2 customers showed up. Walked in and ordered Oxtail, jerk chicken, rice/peas, & side Mac pie.Jerk chicken was good but Oxtail somehow tasted like coconut milk, and Mac pie was old and stale. Everything tasted watered down.I will not be coming back

Just tried Carib Dish for the first time. We had the Jerk Chicken with Ox tail stew --- absoloutely fantastic. The chicken was so moist and flavourful, and the Ox Tail stew was a wonderful compliment. Will we be back? You better believe it!

Carib Dish is a new Caribbean restaurant in the Southwest end of Barrie. They are super friendly and the food is soooo delicious! I love the location bc it's so close home and it beats having to drive through traffic to go downtown or the Southeast end. Welcome to the neighbourhood and keep up the great work!

Ordered takeout from here as wanted to try this new restaurant. The owner Devon was super friendly. Ordered the curry chicken roti (hot) , jerk chicken (hot) and curry chicken (hot). Online it does, mild, medium, hot so I Ordered hot. I was disappointed that it came very mild. When you think of carribean food you think if exotic flavours and a certain spice level. I think the food is cooked mild so you need to ask for hot sauce on the side. The curry chicken roti was good. The curry chicken on its own was good as well. The chicken was a slight but pink on the inside. I think it needed a few more minutes. I would have preferred more gravy as well. . The jerk chicken was very good. Full of flavour and this did have a nice kick to it. The prices were good I might add. Overall good food but not that wow factor I was looking for. However I will try them again. They only recently opened so hopefully over time and other feedback they will get better.
