Ordered takeout. Hubby had haddock and chips and I had a poutine. Sadly it wasn't that great. Chips tasted stale and the batter was greasy. Owners are really nice though. ?

It is the best restaurant among fish and chips I have ever eaten. First of all, clean oil is used, so it's fresh and the tempura is not thick. Handmade coleslaw, crispy potatoes and gravy are the best. They have been running a restaurant in the same place for 10 years. I strongly recommend it if you come to Barrie.

Ordered fish and chips. The fries were cold and dry. Thankfully they skimped on the portions. The fish was ok but again dry and not even warm. Very disappointed.I’ll stick with Danny’s who are consistently good.

I would not recommend this place at all, the fish battered was thick and inside part was not cooked, the layer between fish and batter was just gross, dry frozen fries, tarter sauce taste like vinegar and mayonnaise and not homemade at all as described by worker… the place looked disgusting overall and I was so grossed out by everything that barely ate the food, will definitely not return and recommend you don’t either, just go to the halibut house that’s 3 minutes away, it’s better and much cleaner place.

Ordered in to eat at home. Arrived hot and was really good. A tad too greasy on the batter and and could have been better not so thickly battered but overall very good.

I haven't come across many Fish and Chips Restaurants I wouldn't return to before today. Seems that the oil used to cook the fish was not hot enough and the oil for the fries was too old. A bit more attention to this and a nice warm eating enviroment would have made it passable.

We ordered 2 meals consisting of halibut and fries. All the food was overcooked and the fish was over battered as well. It was disappointing as the cost of our meals was pricey. The service was good though.
Wonderful food and Wonderful people running it. We ordered takeout and it was hot and fresh. Great experience!

Menu was fairly standard Fish & Chips fare... including options of Halibut, Haddock and Cod with French fries and poutines. One unexpected addition for a Fish & Chips restaurant... a full range of 20 different flavors of ice cream. Service was great and staff super friendly and attentive.
