very disappointed, we waited 40 minutes for our food and no one checked up on us or gave us any updates. when we finally were able to call a server over to ask where our food was she went to check and brought it out immediately. the food was cold and definitely felt like it was sitting for a while. again no one checked in to ask how our food was or even apologize for the wait, the unfortunate thing was the food tasted good but service definitely ruined the experience for us

Walked in and waiting 10 mins… no “hi”, “hello”, “we’ll be with you in a second” nothing…. lol

The food and drinks were delicious, a little bit pricey especially since there’s no side included so it’s not very filling.
Service was okay, she was super nice but I could tell I was being rushed out. Not entirely her fault because people in line at the door were death staring everyone until they were seated so super uncomfortable atmosphere.
Thought this was a cafe you could sit at and have a good time with friends or do a little work on your computer but the atmosphere is very pressurized to get you in and out as quickly as possible. I wasn’t even in there for 40min.

Easily the best tasting coffee in the downtown region of Barrie & I'd probably even say within Canada. I've tried most places around Barrie + travelling to several different big cities in Canada due to my job and I've never had a better Americano, Latte, etc. The staff are awesome there (shoutout Terra), would rate higher if I could! The food is also top notch and pricing is very fair for the quality you get. A top place in Barrie for coffee and food - don't walk, run!

Got the roasted red pepper & tomato soup (chef’s soups are chef’s kiss!), peach cobbler French toast with a side of maple bacon, and a cappuccino.

CG uses Good Monday coffee and has a special blend, brewed specifically for them. The French toast featured roasted peaches, house made crumble & whipped cream, on two HUGE pieces of sourdough. Enough for leftovers.

Polenta benedict, Turkish eggs, and peach mimosa are not to be missed.

The service and atmosphere was great but the food was disappointing. If you are going to charge $17 for toast, maybe not just one piece in the middle of a plate?

A hidden gem!! Didn't know this place was here, until my teenager found it on Google! Staff was super friendly, food was amazing! Menu changes with the seasons, so visit ASAP and enjoy the peach French toast and the pulled pork Bennie!! Definitely coming back!

Eggs Bene with Polenta will make you want to lick the plate! Don’t worry. I didn’t. I know that would be rude.

Such a great brunch spot in Barrie. Very good service, with a healthy and tasty menu, also accommodating many dietary restrictions. Excellent atmosphere.

This cosy cafe has a nice atmosphere for hanging out with a group of friends or for a date. We went for brunch. We shared the Mimosa Flight and Strawberry & Cream Marg. The Mimosas were a sample of three flavours. I'm personally not a fan of strong bubbly drinks so I did prefer the strawberry drink more. It paired well with my peach cobbler which had just the right amount of sweetness and a good mix of textures from the crunchy toast, the soft caramelized peaches to the airy whipped cream. I had a side of maple bacon which was cooked perfectly. My wife had The Best, which was a flakey croissant sandwich with eggs, tomatoes and bacon inside. I attached some pictures that show more ingredients in our dishes. They all tasted excellent. For the most part this was not a cheap meal. It would have been nice if our mains included at least one side in the price. At least they used quality ingredients and everything tasted great so I'm not going to drop any stars.

Strong coffee, yummy baked muffins, excellent combination of raspberry and chocolate. Wonderful customer service, a nice gentleman served us today. Beautiful atmosphere for dates to meet with your girls or just to catch up with a good friend. I would suggest this place for dates.
