Cookies & Cupcake By Design Barrie

I had a large order of about 145 custom cookies needed within a week and Julie at Cookies by Design could not have been more helpful. The cookies came out great, exactly how I envisioned them, and everyone absolutely loved them.

Bought some cupcakes today and the ladies there were so kind and welcoming, I had my toddler with me and they were very engaging with him while I picked out cupcakes and even gave him a little treat before we left! The cupcakes looked amazing and lots of options as well!

I picked up some cupcakes for my friends birthday and they were just as i asked the colour was so pretty

First time stopping in today. The two girls in front were so sweet and helpful and I think we bought one of everything. Lets just say 3 cupcakes wont be making it home… lol they were so good my husband and I both split a second one.
Will definitely be back

Omg the cookies are so good that I sneak and eat my son cookies while he was sleeping 🤦 because I already eaten all my cupcakes now I see that they have strawberry cupcakes I can't wait to go get them 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Very disappointing. I would have thought a store that appears to specialize in cupcakes, would sell delicious cupcakes. Some cupcakes were dry and stale, others tasted undercooked. Icing was overpowering and way too sweet. Even my 3 year old son, who loves any desserts, handed it back to me and said it was “yucky.” Sadly, a waste of money.

As someone who personally does not like/eat cake… yes, that’s a normal thing. I tried a cupcake at a birthday party last weekend that changed the course of my life. A week later, I drove 40 min north with white out conditions to get my fix. Worth it. (It was sunny and visibility was good, you don’t know me but I can be a bit dramatic 😂)

Strawberry cheesecake cupcake will make you whole again.

These kind and talented people perfectly replicated complicated cupcakes for my daughters shower perfectly. Everyone wa so impressed. And they were delicious!!!!

Cookie dough was amazing and main reason for 5 stars. I also got birthday cake, chocolate, vanilla and cookies and cream. The birthday cake had too much icing in my opinion and the rest were good.
Customer service was subpar, felt like I was inconveniencing the worker by coming in. I tried

Update- Kat (owner) called me and addressed my experience at the store today. I will definitely return.

I have purchased cupcakes this summer a few times and they were excellent however today I stopped and the cupcakes I bought were terrible…..they were tasteless and stale……disappointing as it was a birthday treat. I called and was told the only thing that has changed is the manager but I think its under new ownership.
