Always loved dining at Cora Barrie.
We have a pleasant trip back from the ski trip, and to stop at Cora Barrie made the whole trip an even better one.
The manager and staffs were extremely courteous and the food was, of surprisingly large portions - at least for us.
If you are on your way to or back from ski or hot springs, make sure to stop by and you will know what I am raving about.

Cora’s at Mapleview Dr. in Barrie On. Is a very clean restaurant with friendly staff. Or server was Kelly and she was terrific. We were seated quickly, and our beverage orders taken promptly. Our tea and coffee arrived soon after and our food orders taken promptly. My daughter ordered the Louis The Undecided - Gluten Free. I ordered the Blueberry Fields and Turkey Bacon. The meal took over 15 minutes to arrive however Kelly ensured we had plenty of hot water for the tea and refills for my coffee. Everything tasted delicious. My daughter loved the shredded ham that came with her dinner and ate that first. We learned from Kelly that this ham was new on the menu and that it is prepared at the head office and sent to the restaurants. Everything was really good up to the end of our meal. My daughter began to have stomach issues and the wave of nausea that she typically experiences when coming into contact with gluten. Unfortunately she did become ill in the bathroom. We suspect she came into contact with gluten somehow. My daughter had The Louis The Undecided before without issue. The only change was the introduction of the shredded ham which is prepared at the head office. The restaurant could not tell me what ingredients were in the ham or how it was prepared as it had only been on the menu for three weeks. Fortunately for my daughter she only had a gluten allergy and not Celiac Disease. Again or server was terrific and the food tasted good. However I only rated the food a three star because of what happened. I recommend Cora’s review there gluten free menu and any new options.
