I have been going to this place for a very long time and while it is still good the quality I feel has fallen off over the last 5 years. I have had multiple times, more and more frequent where my order is wrong or something is forgotten. I’m all fairness I do ask for modifications to one roll I order and have noticed that the appetizers (namely beef teriyaki) portions are cut in half while at the same price. I will keep coming out of convenience to where I live but there are other sushi spots I would prefer more. This is not a bad place by any means and it can be awesome when they are on, but not always consistent so you never know. But what is consistent is the amazing service and attitude from Lily who works there. She always has such a positive attitude and always smiling, The last time I went, I did have an issue with my order and she was so helpful and so nice and polite where it made it nearly impossible to be upset. Any workplace would be lucky to have employees like her. Thanks Lily and Diamond Sushi.

This is far the best sushi in Barrie, ON. Their sushi not only tastes good, the service they provide is amazing. I requested a change in my order, and they promptly made the best efforts to accomodate my request. I do recomment! The Party Tray A has a fair price and it is perfect for our family of 3.

They made a mistake on my order I call to get that fix she was acting on the phone like the phone wasn’t working properly she told me that she look at the camera and that it was no mistake on my order and start getting agressive and told me to call uber eat like its was there fault that my order was wrong. Really bad service at this place never gonna order again

Quite disappointed with the customer service or I guess lack of customer service from the manager. Came here for lunch and was told a certain item was only available on the dinner menu, so I upgraded to the dinner menu for lunch to be told that the Ebi sashimi was only available for a la carte. Requested for the shrimp sushi to come with less rice or no rice and the manager rudely barked at my family stating multiple times we can order from the a la carte menu even though I just upgraded my menu to the dinner all you can eat sushi for this. There was no type of compromise with the manager and when given other options she walked away. First and last time dining here. I’d save your money!!!

The restaurant itself looks clean nice seat arrangements etc. However, the main disappointment was that fish were looking and tasting spoiled with colour change, foul odour and spoiled taste. We had to toss the sashimi and some of the sushi rolls that we have ordered. We have ordered a takeout tray so it was not cheap, and it’s unfortunately was not looking or tasting like it was made fresh. It looked like it was made ahead of time. We did order and picked it up at the time we were asked to pick up. Fish changes colour and gets spoiled within few hours. Unfortunately poisoning from it can be very bad too. This is a gentle reminder for the owners to be more mindful when it comes to food preparation and delivery. We have ordered a tray from here before and it was ok- fresh, this time it was a spoiled fish.
I assume it is a hit or miss with this restaurant.

Took my son & husband out to dinner, & when we were done we all had terrible diarrhoea & my husband couldn’t stop puking! I ended up calling the restaurant & spoke to the manager, telling her this, but she could barely speak English, & just kept saying our food fresh, our food fresh. So I asked her what’s she’s gonna do about the situation and she said “absolutely nothing”…. I have never in my life, put up a bad review, but I kinda had to after this experience! My husband literally said it feels like I’ve been poisoned :(
You obviously had tainted food that made everyone sick……shame on you for being so disrespectful to this matter…..Do better!!!!
Oh, and I forgot to mention that we have been going to this place for almost 15 years but it has gone downhill, so I’m not sure if it has new owners!!

Wonderful Staff, Excellent food, Service is luxury. Even though, I use the skip the dishes app. The staff has never fell short to make my experience top notch in the comfort of my own bed. Highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: Must- try the Vegetarian Green Dragon.
