Firehouse Subs Barrie Park Place

They have a lot of workers but no one cleans. The tables were dirty. When I asked if I could have something to clean it with they said they would clean it. Than continued to do other things. Asked again and it felt that to clean was a burden. Sorry, but cleanliness is extremely important, and I feel that was their least interst.

I’m sure this place would be good if it weren’t for the incredibly terrible service they had. We were in quite a hurry to get our food and leave, and thought this would be a good option. Ordered 4 subs, one of them was the pizza sub and we asked them to remove the meatballs. For some reason, they were exceptionally difficult about not putting meatballs on the sub. They asked us multiple times if we wanted to have them placed a certain way or off to the side, and I understand they want to give the customer what they ordered but I don’t see how they couldn’t fulfill our request of not putting one of the toppings. Eventually, we gave up and they just put them on the side. After waiting for a long time for our subs to be ready, we discovered that they had processed our order twice and didn’t notice until they had all 8 subs ready. Thankfully they refunded us, but they didn’t label any of the subs which was a little inconvenient since we were nearly late to our plans
I will say the sandwiches were great and they had nice, clean seating, so if you have enough patience then I wouldn’t be against you going. But I think the service absolutely needs improvement.

It's was my first time to try Firehouse Subs, menu seems to be good, customer service was great the cashier explained everything we needed to know about the subs. Than I asked one question, do you cut your own lettuce and vegetables or does it come in a bag? She replied, it's from a bag. I don't like the chemicals used in the process and don't eat it. I feel that as customers paying a good price deserves Fresh Lettuce.

Ordered a large engineer sub. Sub had multiple short pieces of hair. Beard hair I’m assuming. Disgusting.

Love the food here. Spent $80 on subs for my family but this location wont accept large bills. Would be nice to have some indication before the order is completed. While I understand that a business has full right to refuse or accept any form of payment they choose-communicating this in a timely manner would eliminate a lot of frustration.

Honesty no meat on n my sub whatsoever for paying 20$ and half the sub was empty

Owner of this location is so cheap they order 70 4L jugs of distilled water through UberEats and have the poor drivers pick them up at the grocery store and make them unload the jugs into their store and have the nerve to not even tip them! Embarassing

Firehouse Subs is a go-to spot for hearty, delicious subs! The sandwiches are packed with fresh ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. However, we found a hair in the sandwich, went to talk to the staff, she just grabbed it and said: that’s not a hair. And just walked away…. It’s hilarious that we can’t event tell the difference of a hair right in the middle of the sandwich. Not even an apology. Really disappointed

Last night I became severely ill and started to vomit, experiencing diarrhea simultaneously after having a Hero sub here for lunch, I seriously question the health and safety practice of this location.

If you value your time at all I strongly advise against visiting this location.

Ordered subs for pickup on Uber, they took the full time and then when I asked for my order they said a few more minutes, it was another ten minutes, so thirty minutes total..that’s ridiculous.. I get it was busy but everyone who ordered in person got their subs in five minutes. Avoid this location!
