Great drinks w great atmosphere!! Love their coffee drinks as well as their cocktails! Food wise, I'd recommend the sausage on a bun, delicious. Grilled cheese is nothing special I would skip that one. 5$ each person to play games (so much variety) is definitely worth it. The atmosphere is so cool, definitely check it out if you are in Barrie. There are also wizard related items in the shop part, also second hand board games for cheap!

This place is truly magical :). Good service, tasty food and a special environment that takes you to different places. I loved the music and attention to detail in it's decor. I had a decaf latte and a tuxedo cake...yummy ?. I definitely recommend the experience. It's a hidden gem.

This review is solely about the lattes. I did not stay for food or to play. However, if you're here to play games or like nerdy stuff, I think you'll enjoy it.
The latte I ordered was extremely hot, such that it burned my tongue badly and likely would have injured me if I had spilled it. There is absolutely no reason for it to be this hot, considering coffee will burn if it is brewed past 200F.
Also, heat aside, it was a pretty mid latte. This is not surprising considering they burned the coffee.

Had son’s birthday party here, very cool atmosphere- so many magical artifacts and so thoughtfully decorated- the guests loved it! The escape room at the cafe was also enjoyed by everyone.

We have been to freaky wizard a handful of times in the last year. It’s always a hit. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, very welcoming of all ages. We recently went with family, ages 4-72years. We were all able to find some fun games that met our interests. The staff were so kind and unimposing. Available when we had questions, but letting us enjoy the space.
In the past we have paid a picnic fee and brought a pizza in while we played. This is a great way to enhance your time. The hot chocolate and lattes at the cafe are great though.
