My family and I had an amazing experience today at Hakka Town Restaurant in Barrie. The hot & sour soup, chili chicken, and fried rice was excellent and by far the best in GTA. The restaurant owner also recommended to try their authentic Hakka fung mee mein, Manchurian beef, sweet and sour chicken, chicken pakora, and they were all excellent choice. I would definitely recommend Hakka Town for their mouth watering dishes.

Chili chicken dry with 4th spice level is exactly like the OGs (Faleys and Fredriks). If you’re looking for good Toronto Hakka style food in Barrie, this is the spot to go to!

I met one of the owners Jamie yesterday. She's so friendly and welcoming!!! She greets her customers as if we've known each other a long time. If you're ever searching for great Asian food with awesome customer service. Look no further. I would also suggest there sweet and sour chicken!!! The chef is a master at perfectly combing sweet and sour. Thanks for the delicious food and service. I definitely will be coming back:)

We came all the way from scarbrough, and we had a good time with hakka town and was good..👍👍👍

I have tried their Vegetable noodle, Hakka chicken fried rice and Lemon chicken. And also I have ordered vegetable soup. Food is tasty and service is good. Prices are reasonable and portions are good enough for a heavy eater.

This is the most incredible and delicious food I have ever had.

I'm not sure what happened to the food?
It was pretty disappointing! Fish pakoras were over fried and almost black! There was no taste at all. Fried rice were like plain vege rice nothing like hakka in it! Very bland!
Noodles were okay! Some how the taste was off and not the same as before!!
We are regular customers of this restaurant and food was pretty disappointing 😞

Great options for vegans!

Bombay chicken is too good!! I love that they include rice with it. Great meal size at a fair price. A must try!!

the food here is AMAZING. it is prepared fresh so give yourself some time when you order.
the vegan options are delicious. the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly, you definitely need to try them!

Vegetarian options: Lots of amazing vegan options and the staff knows exactly what is vegan and what isn't so you can rest assured you won't accidentally consume animal products.

We go here all the time and the food is always delicious. They have a great variety of vegan options that taste amazing. Everything is so flavourful! 10/10 recommend, it’s become our favourite take out in Barrie!
