Good is fresh made and not frozen crap. The Burger I had was the best one I've had in a long time. Definately will be back

Nov 29/25 update. Went around 1230pm so we didn't have to wait. Food and service were excellent. Lots of food. Bacon is very lean, lots of home fries. Have a bowl at the table with jams, butter, peanut butter, syrup and honey. If you drink coffee, someone is always walking around for refills. Had a sign they are opening one in Guelph.

Had bacon and eggs and the pancakes and eggs. Everything was excellent. Food came nice and hot. They are smart and heat the plates up to keep the food warm. It is hard to keep toast and eggs warm. Portions were larger than other places and prices were very reasonable. Way better value than other any other place. Service was excellent. Looked like all the servers were working hard and helping each other out. Won't be going back to sunset or stacked anymore. I went at 145pm on Sunday and it was pretty packed. I would assume there is a line up during prime time .

I had an amazing meal at Jack’s Pancake House! I ordered a hamburger made with fresh, never-frozen ground beef and it was absolutely delicious. The home fries were perfectly crispy and full of flavor, and even the coffee tasted surprisingly good. The service was also a cut above the rest! I was taken care of by Shivani and she literally was probably one of the best servers I have had in a very long time!! Overall, a fantastic experience — I’ll definitely be back!

Great service, great food. Hubby is a very picky foodie and was very impressed with the food - home made Burger, fresh cut fries. My breakfast was also perfectly cooked. Prices are also very reasonable compared to other breakfast restaurants. We'll be back for sure!

Best breakfast in Barrie! If you like Hot Stacks in Cookstown, this is even better! (Same owners!) but the chef in Barrie does better hash browns than the chef in Cookstown! Will never go to Stacked again after this.. I can’t believe I didn’t try this place til now!!

This was a fantastic breakfast experience. We were in town for the weekend and dropped in to Jack’s. The food was outstanding. Huge portions. Delicious. Super quick. The service was excellent! Highly recommended.

This was one of our favorite breakfast places in Barrie. Food portions large & prices are just right! Unfortunately, new owners took over which resulted in 90% of their staff leaving! The last 3 times we visited our food was less than impressive. Two times my scrambled eggs were DRENCHED in oil. All I could taste was the oil. They were completely inedible. I mentioned it to the server both times. She apologized and offered to remake eggs.... by then, I was completely turned off having another egg.

Today I ordered the Strawberry French Toast which is usually fantastic!!! Today there was less strawberries on top than usual. The centre of the French toast was white bread. The egg mixture was barely soaked into the bread which made it dry! The color of the French Toast was much darker than usual today as well.

Three bad meals in a row, looks like we'll be finding a new breakfast place. Which makes us quite sad 😔 We also noticed today that it was WAY less busy than usual. Maybe others are feeling the same way 😕
