December 16, 2023Don't mind the wrong spelling on their posters, it's not their fault. I had the veggie fried rice and garlic beef stir fry with springrolls for appetizer. All were delicious and flavourful, especially the fried rice. Very friendly service. Definitely coming back.

New years day I got Thai food here. It was really good. I got Ap2 veggies spring rolls. They were fantastic. N3 The Veg Pad Thai and requested no egg. It was quite good. Jasmine Rice was standard. V2 the red curry it was good but a little too soupy. V3 eggplant dish which was also a hit

This is the absolute best thai food ever , tried a different place lastnight , rhymes with tim phanon lol and it wasnt even comparable ....love jade thai satay, fresh rolls and pad thai...p.s they have warm peanut sauce
Service was good....not a big spice guy but I asked for it and the food was fantastic. The food was excellent. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know

I've tried a number of Thai places since moving to Barrie a few years ago, and I've come to Jade a number of times, but this last takeout order this past week was the best I've had from here, and the best Thai in Barrie IMO. The shrimp pad Thai was delicious with plump large shrimp and lots of flavourful sauce. The Basil beef was tasty- I'd just prefer the beef was chopped smaller and the basil amped up a bit. But still good. The cashew chicken was tasty and tender. The mango salad was delicious, but was the only dish that wasn't a plentiful serving. Too bad because I devoured it and would have liked more. And the mango slices are a little bigger chunks than I prefer. I think too they would benefit from changing up the vegetable components in different dishes rather than repeating the same flavours (onion, broccoli, etc) All in all, on balance its not perfect, but it is pretty good, certainly workable, and the prices are reasonable. I like that you are asked to customize the heat level on each dish. The food is fresh, tasty, ready when they say, and at a decent price. After trying 5 or 6 places, I think its the best choice, on balance.
