December 16, 2023Don't mind the wrong spelling on their posters, it's not their fault. I had the veggie fried rice and garlic beef stir fry with springrolls for appetizer. All were delicious and flavourful, especially the fried rice. Very friendly service. Definitely coming back.

New years day I got Thai food here. It was really good. I got Ap2 veggies spring rolls. They were fantastic. N3 The Veg Pad Thai and requested no egg. It was quite good. Jasmine Rice was standard. I've tried a number of Thai places since moving to Barrie a few years ago, and I've come to Jade a number of times, but this last takeout order this past week was the best I've had from here, and the best Thai in Barrie IMO. The shrimp pad Thai was delicious with plump large shrimp and lots of flavourful sauce. The Basil beef was tasty- I'd just prefer the beef was chopped smaller and the basil amped up a bit. But still good. The cashew chicken was tasty and tender. The mango salad was delicious, but was the only dish that wasn't a plentiful serving. Too bad because I devoured it and would have liked more. And the mango slices are a little bigger chunks than I prefer. I think too they would benefit from changing up the vegetable components in different dishes rather than repeating the same flavours (onion, broccoli, etc) All in all, on balance its not perfect, but it is pretty good, certainly workable, and the prices are reasonable. I like that you are asked to customize the heat level on each dish. The food is fresh, tasty, ready when they say, and at a decent price. After trying 5 or 6 places, I think its the best choice, on balance.

The food is good but the portions are small. I know costs are at an all-time high but we honestly found it tough to feed 4 people and we spent $80. If you’re not price sensitive, definitely go here for some authentic Thai food. Otherwise, your money will get you further at some other places in Barrie.

Worst Thai food I have ever had. No flavour, not authentic at all. Green curry dish was disgusting and looked like paste (not sure you can see in pic) instead of the creamy coconut milk curry infused sauce as it should be. Even their wonton soup, which most soups an inherently salty was bland dish water.So disappointed and not even helped when called to complain. Bad all around, stay away!!
Amazing food every time I order off of uber eats the chicken pad thai is my favorite and the best I've found in town! Never change! Only improve!

Ordered take out after reading several good Google reviews. Ordered the Red Seafood Curry spicy and also the House Special Fried rice spicy. I was honestly very disappointed. There was a lot of mixed Seafood which was good but it wasn't spicy at all. The fried rice was more sweet. The pieces of beef and chicken were large and in my opinion should have been cut up. After spending over $40 on these dishes I would have expected more. Only reason I gave it 3 stars is that the variety and quantity of Seafood was plentiful. Otherwise would have rated it 2 stars.

Was very easy to go in and order. Menus were easily available, prompt service to order and payment was easy. 15 minute wait and we were outta there painless and ready to enjoy our meals.The flavors are great in the peanut sauce chicken with rice as well as the mango chicken with rice.I tried the crabmeat wontons and they weren't dazzling.Sauces were good and no spillage in the bag.Definitely one of our favorite Thai food places

2022: 3/5It was okay...ordered a few items from their menu (2 chicken dishes, 1 beef, ...) to try it as our favourite Thai place closed down earlier this year unfortunately. Aftertaste wasn't my favourite and the overall flavours were just not as good as I am used to...food was decent, just nothing that really stood out as wow that tastes delicious, more along the lines of, meh, will enjoy it for lunch at the office sort of fair...

Their Pad Thai is excellent, fairly saucy and a little sweet with lots of chicken, we’ve had a number of times and always good. There was a misunderstanding about the pick up time and when I arrived before they expected, they were very quick to prepare the food and also apologetic. Very good food and nice people.
