Really great ice cream but the customer service here is not the greatest. They have a lot of young kids working here. I have been to many locations and this place give a much less portion than other locations. I even mentioned it to the kid working he didn't care.

We were just driving through Barrie and decided to stop on a whim when we saw the Kawartha Dairy sign. What a happy accident! The ice cream is incredibly rich and creamy. I tried the Muskoka Mocha and it was loaded with fudge and it tastes absolutely amazing. The staff was lovely and let us sample a flavour before deciding. The whole experience, from the friendly service to the classic, no-fuss vibe, was just so pleasant. It's the perfect spot for a spontaneous treat. This unplanned stop totally made our day. If you see one, don't hesitate to pull over! It's 100% worth it.

American here - this place puts a lot of local ice cream places in my area to shame. They are VERY generous with portion sizes - one scoop looked and felt like 2-3. Large variety of flavors and prices were very reasonable for what you end up getting. My friends were right - Kawartha hits different. Cannot wait to come back for more!

I love Kawartha dairy but whenever I go to the one in Barrie where I live, they do not fill the cup all the way. It’s always 1-2.5 inches empty. When you ask them about it they just offer to put more milk in it and then it just tastes like you’re drinking milk.

Stopped here with a buddy of mine after we did some work up north. And all I can say is they gave us the biggest icecream we have ever seen 😁 you can see he's pretty pleased lol
