We are from out of town and only go into Barrie to visit my in-laws. Went into Kawartha Dairy this past Sunday to buy some honey, and my kids wanted an ice cream cone. After sampling a couple, they decided and got HUGE scoops of ice cream. My daughter (4 yrs old) was enjoying herself when the huge ball rolled off and dropped onto the floor. The lovely woman behind the counter didn't even blink and gave her a huge other portion in a cup. We love this Kawartha Dairy. It's always full of Kawartha's amazing flavours, the service is always quick and amazing and they are almost always in stock of my favourite local honey brand Kawartha Lakes basswood honey. We appreciate you!

I visited this place before and didn’t have any issue but recently when I went with my cousin who was visiting us from Detroit, I had a bad experience, probably it can be considered as discrimination. The waitress acted rude, was not interested in giving us samples to try and when we took the baby size cup, the scoope size was less than usual. We walked out feeling confused about the treatment we got and I felt embarrassed bringing my cousin to this place and giving him such a bad experience. I don’t think I will visit this place again, hope they improve their service.

The ice cream and waffle cone was so good! However, when I’m trying to decide to choose my flavorrrrrr of choice don’t rush me I get anxious. There’s like 100 flavors.
