Worst customer service and food I have ever had. I will never eat or recommend this restaurant 😒 overall the worst sushi restaurant

Just moved back to Simcoe County area and previously enjoyed meals at Ajisai Sushi on Bayfield Rd., now Keno Sushi. It was not the same, purchased over 50$ worth of Sushi, shrimp tempura. The tempura shrimp had gone bad, has to spit it out, disgusting. I turned around and they made me a new set, but realized, they put 3 newly made tempura on top, but left the 3 rotten ones on the bottom. The Sushi platter was worst, had to throw away. so disappointed. I will never return.

Last time I will be going here. Took my daughter out for a treat this evening as sushi is her favourite, got a table quickly, sat and ordered right away(2 rolls, soup and a couple small things), after order was placed a table sat next to us, within 5 minutes they had received their sushi, didn't think much of it. Then they kept receiving more and more items. Finally after 15 minutes 1 thing came out, 10 minutes later we had everything. Placed second order right away as we had 30 minutes at that point to think about it, again not a large order maybe 4 things in total. 25 minutes pass, then a waiter comes over and asks if im ready for my bill. I stated no I am still waiting for food, she looks at tablet and says oh that was a long time ago they probably forgot, I'll go get order started, 15 more minutes pass. I request my bill at this point, waited again maybe 10 more minutes for bill to arrive BEFORE anything else still at this point. And the waiter was offended I was leaving.

This is the best all you can eat sushi we have had in years! We stop going to the All-you-can eat places because the quality is so poor. But Kino exceeded our expectations. Be careful not to order too much, they have generous portions! The sashimi was so fresh. Highly recommend

Had an unpleasant experience today ~ first time in Barrie and wanted to try it here for dinner because of the good reviews. Upon entering, we see a busy floor with about 1 to 2 servers going about. One of the servers I was able to flag and ask if they have a table for 2, she acknowledged and said just give her a few. To be fair, they seemed understaffed and overworked because she looked exhausted and flustered juggling between calls, cleaning and delivery dispatch. I was standing there waiting with my wife for approximately 8 to 10 minutes. I was patiently waiting, then the second waitress approach us so I mentioned we are waiting for the table for 2. To my surprise, this one gave a different response saying “Sorry, as you can see we are jam packed and there’s no available table” roughly translated. Well, at this point there’s little than can be done. I have no problem with waiting, if she said we can wait for a few, or being told outright there’s no way we can dine for tonight since it’s fully booked. What really irks me is the sort of disregard with an almost 10 minutes wait that could have been avoided easily. At least, its some sort of blessing in disguise, and we ended up at nearby Baton Rouge where we had an awesome dining experience.

We went for all you can eat at dinner. They had an extensive menu with plenty of options to choose from and friendly waitstaff. My personal favourite were the torched sushis! Will definitely come again
