We went in pretty much every Friday nights with a group of friends. The atmosphere and people working were fantastic. We continued our patronage on Sundays after playing ball, due to the service and friendly staff.
Sara Lynn always dropped by to say hi and interjected her sense of humor into our relaxed conversations.
I highly recommend Malones.

Cool Barrie bar. We've only had drinks a couple of times. Prices are reasonable. This place is lively even in the afternoons. It looks like all regulars at the bar. Even though neighbourhood can be described as a bit sketchy, clients in this bar were not. We hope to be regulars one day.

Been to malones many times. Tonight’s experience was horrible which sucked as we raved about malones to our family visiting tonight from out of town. 1 hour wait for 3 sandwiches with fries. Food came, couldn’t even bite into it as the bread was rock hard, lumpy dry crusty stuff floating in the gravy. Waitress didn’t even come by to ask how we were doing. Eventually had to go find her to get 4 slices of bread so we could eat. No apology even though we understood it’s not her fault but no offer to comp our drinks or anything to sub for the poor service and food quality. Normally malones is wonderful hence why we visit often. I really hope this was just a one off. Server could have been more attentive to us as regulars and knowing our sandwiches were not originally edible! Overall we still love malones however we do not want to have this experience again.

I came in for a few pints and onion rings. The beer was cold and fresh and the rings were delicious. The service was friendly and prompt.
The only complaint is that we could smell the bathroom odours in the dining room which a was a put off when eating.

Wings were 10/10 (big, juicy, good price) but the gar par flavour can be much better. Tried both the dry and spicy gar par (only two options) and both were not that great in my opinion so if your craving gar par I'd avoid. Otherwise I highly recommend. Dry Cajun, hot BBQ, etc were excellent.

First time coming here. It was busy as NFL games where on. Unfortunately wasn't impressed with the wings I had. They were over cooked and I thought Garpar was a garlic sauce and parmesan. I ordered spicy garpar and I got parmesan cheese sprinkled on top of the spicy sauce. When I asked the server she said that is our spicy garpar🤷
