My husband went out to get us breakfast at 4:00 am and was treated as if he was homeless and the people’s locked him inside were you took orders from the little box. They wouldn’t respond to him, I don’t know about you but it normally doesn’t take over 10 to 30 minutes to get food.

Went to this McDonald's for the first time in a year. Probably one of the worst mcdonalds experiences I have ever had.
I got a Big Mac and Fries both were luke warm when I started eating them. I also saw the staff making the breakfast burritos for the next day at 5:30pm which I thought was a little odd?
Overall, wouldn't recommend, spend your money elsewhere this place was terrible.

I think they forgot my order, waited extra long for just a breakfast sandwich. No apologies or acknowledgement. Also FYI - at this location you need to ask the cashier to unlock the bathroom for you.

They never have decaf coffee available always have to wait, servers don't wear hats or hairnets, and overall the restaurant is filthy.
Never get order right and just want to push you through the drive thru Servers are rude and don’t know how to listen to the orders

McDonalds in Elmvale and Midland are great. Owners and staff are amazing. Kind, and courteous. We truly have a couple of the best McDonalds around!

McDonald’s on Dunlop in Downtown Barrie has the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The staff do not care about their customers, it feels like they just want your money, nothing more. They are rude and at times even insulting. Every visit, there’s an issue. Orders take forever (10+ minutes just for basic items), and sometimes other people even get your order before you. The food is consistently soggy, cold, and not fresh. The place itself is dirty, and it’s clear they don’t care about cleanliness or customer experience. And that’s just the small stuff compared to what’s really happened. Multiple times they’ve completely missed my order. When you go back to complain on the spot, they don’t apologize properly — instead, they try to hand you a “voucher” that turns out to already be expired from last year, greasy with oil, as if customers are dumb enough not to notice. That’s not only unprofessional, it’s straight up insulting. What makes it even worse is the way they hire. There are plenty of professional people applying who actually have attention to detail, know customer service, and could raise the standards. But instead, they’d rather hire anybody just because it’s cheaper for their labor — people who don’t even know the basics of professionalism. They cut corners everywhere, and it shows in every single experience. Out of all the McDonald’s I’ve been to, this one is by far the slowest, dirtiest, and most careless. I honestly don’t know how they’re getting away with it, but this location needs serious management changes.
