McDonalds in Elmvale and Midland are great. Owners and staff are amazing. Kind, and courteous. We truly have a couple of the best McDonalds around!

McDonald’s on Dunlop in Downtown Barrie has the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The staff do not care about their customers, it feels like they just want your money, nothing more. They are rude and at times even insulting. Every visit, there’s an issue. Orders take forever (10+ minutes just for basic items), and sometimes other people even get your order before you. The food is consistently soggy, cold, and not fresh. The place itself is dirty, and it’s clear they don’t care about cleanliness or customer experience. And that’s just the small stuff compared to what’s really happened. Multiple times they’ve completely missed my order. When you go back to complain on the spot, they don’t apologize properly — instead, they try to hand you a “voucher” that turns out to already be expired from last year, greasy with oil, as if customers are dumb enough not to notice. That’s not only unprofessional, it’s straight up insulting. What makes it even worse is the way they hire. There are plenty of professional people applying who actually have attention to detail, know customer service, and could raise the standards. But instead, they’d rather hire anybody just because it’s cheaper for their labor — people who don’t even know the basics of professionalism. They cut corners everywhere, and it shows in every single experience. Out of all the McDonald’s I’ve been to, this one is by far the slowest, dirtiest, and most careless. I honestly don’t know how they’re getting away with it, but this location needs serious management changes.

Management needs to learn how to use the trespass to property act. Saw a guy watching dirty movies on his laptop, got asked for money 3 times on the way in, garbage everywhere and looks like a several purses stuffed in the garbage in the mens room.

The service is too poor and the Crew member handle us with no respect. At 2:50am in drive through we wait for 15 mints for just coke and a medium fries. Firstly, they gave us cold fries and a medium coke instead of large.

Really really bad, it’s filthy, so gross, slow, nothing has been wiped down, garbage on the floors, bathrooms are disgusting, homeless sleeping at a table, this location needs serious help! Won’t be back and will never recommend.

In this restaurant they are very friendly, we ordered four happy meals and they took a while with our order because there were really a lot of people ordering, but the girls sincerely apologized for the delay and gave us coupons for ice cream to make up for the wait, in another city like Toronto they wouldn't have even given me an apology 😁 Excellent treatment from the young women who served us

I wanted my apple pie and two times in a row i didn’t get my apple pie and they gave me muffins that were old crusty and hard instead. i just want my apple pie :(
