I want to preference this by saying it's not often I would give McDonald's a 5-star for anything. However, this one in Park Place seems to have an all-star cast, at least in the mornings. I can go there, I get exactly what I want, it's quick, it's fast, it's accurate, it's hot. The people working are pleasant, polite, friendly, and you don't get that at McDonald's usually, not anymore. This location has set the standard, and unfortunately I don't think any other McDonald's, at least not in the city of Barrie, can touch this when it comes to the standard of quality customer service.

$18 dollars of missing items and it was a mobile pre-order. What we did get was carelessly thrown into boxes. The burgers didn't even look like burgers. The top bun was upside down!
UPDATE (Nov 26, 2025):
Gave them another shot and I absolutely should not have. Instead of getting two triple pickle mccrispy, we got 2 habanero mcchickens. Shut it down guys and go home.

Very bad experience! I would 100 not recommend it again. We ordered mc veggie burgers. We did not check it there cause we had a 2 years old with us and turns out The burger patty was burnt and it tasted so bad.
We were waiting to try them out just to be unsatisfied. We spend 8$ each on 4 burgers. Waste of money

I NEVER thought I'd be leaving a REVIEW for a McDonald's, BUT this is a SPECIAL PLACE. WHAT makes it SPECIAL? THE PEOPLE that WORK there!! When I SEE the MANAGER, KATJA, mopping up a spill on the floor at the drink dispenser machine so as to ALLEVIATE her CREW from the BURDEN of ADDITIONAL TASKS, as they are HUSTLING to SATISFY the MANY CUSTOMERS, I THINK to MYSELF, THIS is the EPITOME of a GREAT MANAGER! WELL DONE on THAT hire, RONALD!! THE CREW are FRIENDLY and CONSTANTLY cleaning, IF they're NOT servicing us PATRONS. WELL DONE!! 🙌 I DON'T know ALL of YOUR names YET, but HONOURABLE shout outs to; Ravi, Midune, Julian & Mary!!! I ❤️ YOU, all! ✌️😘✌️

It was first time in a long time that we were dining in with my daughter, and I want to say I was surprised that the place was very clean. The staff is friendly, they offered us table service, when I asked to clean the table for us, the young guy did it without any hesitation, also he noticed when my daughter dropped the napkins on the floor and offered to bring us new ones. I removed one star only because I ordered McDouble combo and it came with small fries like in my daughter’s Happy meal. But considering the fact that it was a busy Sunday afternoon, I do recommend the place.

One of the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Dining room was filthy and every table had leftover food and stains on it. The food was cold and fries soggy. It was dinner time and it was not crowded so not sure why it was so sub standard. I do not recommend and I will not be back.

In Barrie I suggest going to the location in Barrie view drive. Superior coffee preparation and staff. Minets Point is a distant 2nd and park place is for masochists
Waited 17 minutes for two chicken burgers, a drink and fries. When I got my food and left back to work as my break was over, I noticed they just didn’t give me my fries. I couldn’t go back to say anything because I had to clock back in

Tried to go through drive through Sunday August 31st around 12pm and the lady taking the order through drive through could barely speak English and didn’t understand my order. So someone else came to speak and took so long I left the drive through. What a very sad mess. Usually simple, quick, friendly and easy.
