Wow! Incredible spot with a fun vibe. Great food - fresh and delicious. Loved the Yellow martini! The service from Ryan and Cat was outstanding. Will definitely be come back!

Michael & Marion's was the venue of choice at short notice for my father's funeral reception. The service was outstanding from the point of first contact with the owner. He was so kind and helpful in assisting with the right menu choices for the 35+ people attending. The appetizers, asparagus soup and meal was delicious. The private dining area upstairs was cozy yet classy and had its own bar and washrooms which was wonderful. The servers Kieran and Jade were stellar at their jobs and great to chat with! Look no where else folks, Michael and Marion's and The Side Door offers so much more for your private event.

Soups were great, chicken sandwich a little bland ( needs salt) risotto was quite good, jus the rice was slightly over cooked. Great flavour. Calamari is our favorite of any place.

I couldn't recommend Michael and Marion's more! They made my wife's graduation celebration a memorable moment from start to finish.

Michael and Marion's is more than just delicious food. We ordered the Tomahawk Steak prepared by chef Chris, and he did a fantastic job, exceeding our expectations mightily by personally presenting the steak at our table and torching the herb butter on top for us.

The risotto prepared by head chef Marjorie was delectable right down to the last bite. It was pure perfection.

Our server, Ryan, was absolutely fantastic and extremely knowledgeable about the entire food and beverage menu. He provided us excellent service and was very personable. Kieran was also very friendly and helpful.

Make this your go-to destination if you want to properly celebrate life's best moments.

Wow what an amazing place in Barrie! We stayed at their Airbnb on top of the restaurant. One of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at around the world. They were so welcoming with the food and snacks the prepared us and having the restaurant downstairs made it feel like a VIP experience. The food was amazing and the waiters were very professional and warm. Our favorite dishes were the Wagyu burgers and the chocolate cake dessert. Highly recommend staying at their Airbnb and visiting this amazing restaurant.

Working with Kent to book a last minute large reservation was such a pleasure. He ensured we had everything in place to have a wonderful time. Kent is such a joy and so easy going. Amber - our server/bartender was exceptional! No one went without a drink in hand, or food being passed around. Amber (and the kitchen staff) were super accommodating when we decided to add additional menu items to a pre-ordered event. The two of them made our experience nothing shy of perfect! Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful ambiance, amazing service, and delicious food as always.

Held my best friend’s surprise 60th birthday party at Michael & Marion’s on Nov. 13.

While planning the party, the owner Kent and all his staff were quick to respond to texts and calls regarding how the event would play out.

The day manager, Jade was extremely friendly and helpful especially the day of the event.

Ryan, the night manager made sure everything ran smoothly for the 14 guests. He was our server for the group along with Maddy.

Everything was perfect!

The whole team are extremely friendly and accommodating.

I could not rave enough about having a date night dinner here. Our outstanding server, Jade, did a phenomenal job taking care of us over our 3 course dinner. The drinks were beyond tasty, the calamari was the absolute best, our mains hit the spot and the whipped cheesecake was amazing. I could not think of one thing that could’ve gone better; hats off to the entire staff at Michael & Marion. This is an absolute gem in the city of Barrie!

Had a great experience for dinner, went for my daughter's birthday and everything tasted great especially the tomahawk steak my brother got it was cooked perfectly!! Jade was our server And she made great conversation and helped the night go smoothly and will definitely come back again another time hopefully sooner than later!
