I'm not sure if I'm giving correct stars... I used Google and was optimistic to try jerk chicken and got directions to a residential area but assumed it would be in a plaza. It wasn't, so I called, and the person answered that the business was running from the residential address listed. I was bummed after confirming that and I didn't have any cash on hand, and it wasn't the easiest to get to (there was some blocking in the neighbourhood for road work). I was going to go get cash but then was drained from driving around. Hopefully, I will get to try this place

Went in today a d ordered the curry goat and chicken roti and 2 beef patties. Food was fairly good . I found the rice to be a little mushy . But overall the food was decent. What really made it good was the exceptional service from the young gentleman at the front and from Ms p herself. She took the time to explain she ran out of roti and only had wraps . I was a little skeptical on the wrap but I gave it a try . Would have been much better with the actual roti but it was still delish . She is tucked away in the back of cedar point. If you can find it pls give it a go . She is such a friendly lady . Hope nothing but the best for this little hidden gem

It’s a small and somewhat hidden location offering take out only.
The young woman who greeted me was soft spoken and professional.
I ordered a small jerk chicken and a hot Pattie, just as a means to sample.
I will certainly not order so little next time!
Although it was the perfect amount of food for a quick lunch.
The quality of chicken was impressive, it was well seasoned and the jerk spice has a wonderful heat too it, it was right at my top of what I could comfortably enjoy, and enjoy it I did! The chicken itself was still tender and moist, a number of places I’ve eaten Caribbean food at have served dry chicken which just isn’t as enjoyable.
I’m looking forward to next week when I’m down at my vision therapy (Cardinal Vision Development) this spot is in the same plaza just 2 doors down.
I think it will be come my weekly treat!
Next time I’ll be sure to order enough to bring home for both my husband and myself.

Edit-im reviewing again because it’s been a while since I’ve been here and this time I’m trying the oxtail as well. So good. One of the best Jamaican restaurants I’ve eaten at and probably the best Jerk chicken anywhere in Toronto and Barrie.
If you’re looking for a jerk chicken spot, don’t go anywhere else! For all of you that know me and anyone else reading this, I eat jerk chicken often. This place is my new favourite. I’m actually sad I never took the time to look up jerk chicken in Barrie. I had no complaints about the food except that I bought a small and should’ve ordered a large. The chicken was good, flavoured, spiced and fall off the bone. The rice was perfect. Usually when I go to jerk spots the rice is just ok, but this one was delicious. I wish there was a bit more coleslaw because the coleslaw was sooo yummy too. This place needs to be in a better location because they’re not getting the recognition they deserve. I’ve eaten at almost all the top jerk spots in Toronto and this one is way better. Go now. You won’t be disappointed!

After a disappointing experience at another Jamaican restaurant, my husband and I stumbled upon Ms. P's shop, and what a delightful find it was! Ms. P's passion and love for her craft shine through in every aspect of the dining experience. From the warm welcome to the impeccable service, we felt right at home.
