Heard rumblings about this place being good. Came in for lunch and wasn’t disappointed at all. Ordered their Sashimi sampler, a Galbi lunch special, and their Sunny Roll.
The sashimi was huge and well cut, just absolutely tasty. The galbi was perfect, clearly smoked and tasted better than half the places I’ve had it in Seoul. Their specialty rolls are massive and so delicious.
Perfect place to go if you’re craving Japanese or Korean. I crave both very often, so I’ll easily be back.

Excellent spot! Delicious and unique rolls. We ordered the Aburi Salmon Dynamite Roll (Torched Salmon on top), Spider Roll, and the NE signature roll which has a blended tuna/yam topping on top of a fried dynamite roll. All were excellent and I'd rate them all between 9-10. But I've been on a torched sushi kick as of late and I vote that as my favorite. We also had the Gyoza and Takoyaki for apps. The gyoza was tasty but generally average and the Takoyaki though not entirely authentic (not cooked in the cast iron takoyaki shell) was nonetheless very delicious. We'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu but as our first visit was a knockout winner I decided to post right away!
We've been back since this first post and we just had to add the Aburi beef nigiri as a recommendation. We also ordered a sashimi platter and they were fresh, delicious, and large pieces! Can't wait to find more favorites from their menu.

Absolutely loved my experience at Ne Sushi! The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor — you can really taste the quality. The ambience is cozy, modern, and calming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal.
A special shout-out to the server — so friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Honestly, this place is on a whole different level compared to all-you-can-eat spots. If you’re craving real, high-quality sushi and a great dining vibe, Ne Sushi is a must-visit!

The BEST Sushi Place in Barrie hands down! My boyfriend and I just ate there tonight. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in. The chefs are absolutely fantastic the food was so delicious. The presentation beautiful and the restaurant is absolutely stunning inside. Our new favourite sushi place! This is not only one of the best sushi spots in Barrie, I'd go as far as to say it's one of the top ones in the GTA when it comes to taste, quality, and affordability. I've only eaten here twice & both times I was blown away by this hidden gem. Don't even think about it, just go!!!!!! They almost have 5 stars for a reason :)

This place is absolutely amazing! Went tonight for the first time and will definitely return. Service was impecable, friendly and attentive staff. Cozy yet stylist atmosphere. Best sushi in the area for sure! Cannot recommend the aburi salmon and the salmon lovers combos enough. Do yourself a favour and give Ne Sushi a chance, you will be hooked!

The spider roll was horrible, had barely any meat and was fried in old oil as it was dark brown. The serve was almost always late we had to order before we get there. Their service is nice and place is clean.
