very sad to see painters hall not open but can understand why. But out of the closure of painters has spawn 2 of the finest fast food joint in town. Jimmy Chew and Bad Lucy's. i didn't think pizza and chicken wings could be made any better but ooooooooooooohhhhhhhh shhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttt they have. try them both you will love it.

We were here for a business meeting and it was the perfect atmosphere. Staff was super attentive, food selection was upscale and wine list added a nice touch. I’d strongly suggest this if you want to wine and dine business partners.

We decided to try this Bistro in Barrie Ontario Making reservations online was a snap quick replies with confirmation and any request are yes indeed fulfilled! Our evening started early in a perfect atmosphere candlelight drinks appetizer ,the hostess made the entire evening outstanding “thank you Heathers “ The food and service ,just the extra mile Painters Hall Bistro went to satisfy the customer “ I must say we felt so relax “ like we were regulars ! This is an excellent restaurant....the food is beautifully prepared, the service is delightful. It is cosy and perfect for a romantic evening or with a group of friends. While more expensive than other restaurants in the area it is absolutely worth it!

Painters Hall is a must stop dinning experience when in the Barrie area. Very well prepared food, great service and an appropriate wine list. Making a reservation is in your best interest. We arrived at 18:30 on a Friday evening and it was already at capacity. Our visit was during Barrielicious and included a choice of appetizer, main and desert on a set menu. The Pork Belly an Scallop appetizer was incredible. Our party of three enjoyed the Duck Confit, the Seared Sole and the Braised Beef Short Rib. All very well prepared. Dessert was again, a nicely prepared Creme Brulee. Painters Hall is absolutely on the list of return visits.
